Tons and tons of homework!

Currently, I have a whole crudload of homework to do over the summer, and it's not even for a specific class, it's for Academic Team, and I have to:

1.) Prepare a speech.
2.) Read a thick packets on Economics.
3.) Study the subject areas.
4.) Read Candide by Voltaire.
5.) Read The Red Badge of Courage.

Any tips on how to attack loads like this?
Other than that, post what you think the best strategies are for tackling big homework assignments during break, overnight, or whenever.

Or share anything about homework woes!
We could help each other out.

In my opinion and probably the obvious course your going to take, is to tackle the the one you loath the most, the one that will consume the most time. Lol, basically the one you hate the most out of that list. Once it's done, you should have that felling of accomplishment and the rest should be quick and at least more enjoyable to tackle. Hopefully.

Now, if you loath all them equally... Then your obviously sol...

F.F Fan beat me to it. That was my strategy as well. I suppose it gives you a sense of satisfaction that you were able to finish the hardest work out of them all. Then the rest should be easy and you'd be able to do it more light-heartedly (if that makes sense).

If I were you, I'd read the stuff from Voltaire, then the packets for Economics. (Always try to get your reading out of the way first, but make sure you have enough memory capacity in your brain

) You should do your speech last, as it's obviously one of the main points. You can practice and practice til' you can practice no more.

Just kidding... please dont do that entirely.

Just imagine how it would be like when all your homework is finished. Just keep thinking about that and before you know it... you would be done. Just get it over and done with

The Red Badge of Courage shouldn't be considered 'homework' as much as it should be considered 'privilege.' Otherwise, don't read anything else, as reading the material is surprisingly rarely needed to succeed in academics and prepare the speech.

You really think so? I'm getting the book this weekend. lol. I heard it was pretty good anyway since it's about war and all.
But true, I got through AP English just reading half the material.

So thanks for the tips, but if there's any more, please, please, console me. XD
