I did something like this a while ago but my teacher ended up losing the assignment so now I have to do it again because she has a smelly cunt. Thanks to anyone who partakes in it.

And yes, I know I could go look up my other topic and already have the answers, but she gave me a different topic this time and thus those results wouldn't make sense. Thanks.

I need to do a survey for my family studies course... My topic is "Do teens usually wear clothing that represent their identity?". As such, this is directed towards teenagers. Or, y'know, anyone between the ages 13-20.

I usually wear clothing that feels comfortable; things that make me feel confident and unrestricted at the same time. But...I also spend a lot of time dressing to impress; I have no one to impress other than my boyfriend, so if he wants me to wear something, I damn well wear it, no matter how embarrassing it is.

I think that no matter what, I usually wind up looking generally nice (or even over dressed) as I walk out of the house each day...

2. Explain your answer in Q1 (why?).

I chose a and b because I dress according to comfort and confidence, but I'm also highly satisfied with my taste in clothing.

3. Does your choice of clothing affect your daily routine?

Absolutely. About 50% of the time, I'm dressed to comfort; loose clothes, loose hair, nothing could go wrong attire, you know. The other 50% of the time, I'm dressed to impress; to impress my boyfriend that is, I'll wear basically anything.

Generally speaking, I never look (too) bad in public. But when I'm walking around town dressed like a runway model, it makes me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable (most of the time). Either you get too many looks (regardless of whether or not they're good looks or bad looks), or you just feel generally out of place, and you loose the confidence to do things that you would normally do.

b) Skater
c) Gangster
d) Ordinary, plain fitting clothes
e) Other

I'll make my own category. If I were on the outside, looking in...I would say that I dress very girly.

5. Does your answer in Q4 affect other when you're making a first impression on someone? If so, how?

Does it affect my first impressions on other people? Here's the thing. People generally don't tell you what they think about you face to face, but...I get a lot of "she's so stuck up" and "she thinks she's all that" kind of rumored remarks from people that I don't even really know.
To be honest, I think that my style is somewhat intimidating to others; because not too many people are willing to wear some of the things that I wear. Little do they know, that I'm not as confident as they think I am.

Female.

7. Do you usually judge others by what they are wearing if you don't know them personally?

Uhm I won't lie. I have judged other people according to what they wear. I have done it in the past, but I know it's not right. You can't judge a book by it's cover. I usually have a very quick-to-judge personality when I'm around someone else; never when I'm alone.

You know, we have a section for school subjects and whatnot. If you want, I could move this there. =]

Leki wears stuff that she likes, like shiny things on it, and anime pictures. You can also tell I hate heat because I love short-sleeve t-shirts and shorts and sandals. But dirty clothes tend to pile up... so sometimes I just have to wear whats clean.

Not usually, because I wear non-restricted clothing. Loose t-shirts, blue jeans, and tennis shoes usually. Or sandals, and almost NEVER jewelery or makeup. And to add to that, my hair is pulled in a ponytail to stay out of the way.

Yes. I can wear boyish type clothes because they're not as tight or flesh-showing as most girl clothes that are available. So I can come of as toyboyish, even gay, if you judge on site. Or sloppy.

Very rarely. Unless they have totally out there clothes, that they just made themselves. Then they're just labeled UNIQUE. XD

i think i just wear clothes depending ion my mood? taht counts right? if im in a good mood il wear summat bright and nice - if im not then it will be jeans vest top and trainers lol

not really, unless imin work and im wearing stupid heelsthat i end up taking off which results me being yelled at or getting yelled at caiuse it looks to casual....i get yelled at about what i wear alot at work

i think id have to say other. i just wear what i feel like, one day i might be in skinny jeans trainers and a vest top, the next a summer dress and heels. I really just wear whatever takes my fancy and i dont care what ppl think!

erm,i dont know sometimes i suppose, i only know this by the reactions of people i know tho, like wearing blue shoes and an entire black outfit to work and my mates are like wtf are you wearing....but then il wear some nice trousers shirt and a waspie and they are like who am i trying to impress......so yeah i guess so, but i never notice with people i dont know. And i dont care anyway. i just dress appropriate to the occassion.....ok im waffling now, sorry
