Appearance in a Nutshell: N/A
Personality: Socially, Jecht is very open. He is shy somewhat to the opposite sex though. He has a mildly carefree spirit but takes loyalty seriously. Jecht is an optimist most of the time. But only during the most bleak of a situation, he can either take up the position a leader or give up all hope(Rarely). During a battle, Jecht still tries to stay upbeat and takes the fight as a fun skirmish. Overall, Jecht is a honorable man.
First Impression: If a stranger waked up to Jecht, one of two things could happen. This all depends on the "vibe" he gets from the person. If it was a good vide, Jecht would be the first to greet and give his name, even bow to a woman. If it was an uneasy of malevolent vibe, Jecht wou;d ask questions like "Who are you?" and "What buisness do you have with me?"
Weapon(s): Besides the twin 13-inch retractable blade gauntlets on his forearms, Jecht's main weapon is a single-edge four foot sword. It's blade is shaped like a straight, single- edged katana. The sword is carried in a sheath located on the left side of his waist. He carries it on a sword belt strapped around his waist that doubles as a normal belt.
Armor: His only armor is his breastplate and the silver mythril chainmale. Also, his retractable blade gauntlets can double as guards against sword strikes and other weapons but only so much.
Magic: The only magic spell Jecht knows is a middle-level thuder/ thundara spell. He calls out "Grant me power, Odin!" or "Thunder!" In which a lightning bolt in the rough shape of a spear comes crashing down on his enemy. If the target is in a tight group, the spell can diffuse to the others but isn't as strong as a direct attack.
Abilities/Skills: Jecht has a very strong special attack called "Zenbaitsu". It is mostly a last ditch attack that can cause him to fatigue quickly or collapse from the strain. The attack causes a rift of fire to be created from a strike of Jecht's sword.
Quick History: Jecht was born to a female magic-user and a male warrior. His mother wasn't around much due to her pilgramige to a sacred land rich with magic she left for soon after his birth. His father taught him to fight and hunt. When he was of age, early in the morning, Jecht's father would wake him up. After a quick skirmish between the two, his father would send Jecht out to hunt for food for the day. He learned to use a bow and was humane towards animals, dealing them a quick death. Jecht's father was very much like Jecht is now, thus, Jecht's personality.
Being the only parent in his life, Jecht looked up to his father with great admiration. He was a heavily built man with a long beard and moustaches. He owned a full suit of platemail armor. When he wore it, Jecht looked to him with even more admiration. Jecht's father was a born hunter. He could catch any animal in any environment. He also took bouty hunting jobs, only taking jobs that included proven criminals. He took Jecht with him on every hunt, teaching him the "how to"s and "what not to do"s. Eventually, Jecht became as skilled as his father.
It wasn't another warrior or animal that took his father's life. It was age. Even in his old age, Jecht's father looked as young as a 30-year old. It was the fire in his eyes that dimmed and showed time progressing upon him. Before he died, his father told him that his mother was still alive. She was a magic-user, after all. One of the most skilled in the area. He asked Jecht to find her and tell her of their adventures as well as her own. With that, the last breath exited his body. The old warrior earned the burial of a knight and was creamated upon a fire atop his own home. With nothing to go back to, Jecht took his father's breastplate with him on his journey.
