The Rules Of The RP Section
-God-Modding: This incurs in controlling a characters that does not necessarily belongs to you. It can also be considered as God-Modding to assume the reactions of an opposing character, even if the owner if said character has not responded to your input. Also suggesting what your opponent might be thinking in your post would give you a slight level of omniscience, the likes of what could be defined as God Modding as well.
-Power-Playing: This is defined as creating your character excessively powerful or with skills and/or abilities that would somehow give your character an unfair advantage. It also means making your character impervious to any sort of assault, magic or ability.
-Usage of OOC: Out of Character entries (OOCs) are acceptable as long as the thread does not ends up as a sum of many OOCs. In Role Play it is acceptable to use this with moderation and should be limited to quick questions and responses. It is highly encouraged the usage of the discussion thread for the RP if the OOC seems to be too deep or if the question seems to complex to be discussed with simplicity. OOCs do not count as RPing per se and the length of the OOCs should be kept between two to four sentences.
-Plagiarism: You are not to claim ownership of anything that might have been posted by another member without prior concent. You can, though, base your ideas around a similar concept while not making your entries exactly the same. We are aware that most books, video games and other sorts of media are the source of inspiration for many, but let us stick with originality.
-Post Length: While we do not expect most members to make a fully detailed and extensive paragraph, bear in mind that the usage of "one liners" -single line posts- in Role Plays it is forbidden. You should keep the minimum length of your post to (at least) four to five sentences. One or two liners can be considered as spam and the member could incur into breaking the rule concerning SPAM.
Putting Threads In The Wrong Section: Of course, we will understand if you are new to the RP Section but please try and place threads in the right section. For example: The sign-up threads for an ORPG should be placed in the section called "The Review" whilst the main RP for this sign-up should be placed in the section called "The Writers"
Character Approvals: If a moderator has already spoken about your bio and has unapproved it please do not under any circumstances go to another mod and ask of them to approve your bio. We read each and every bio written carefully for anything that needs to be done and we find it offensive when you believe our decision is incorrect. If you wish to talk to the mod who unapproved it then that is fine as we can give you better advice on how to make it better.
