Everyone misses Firion from FFII 
I think that Jecht's pauldron is different. I don't remember him having a massive spiky shoulder guard. wasn't it just a regular flat one? Tidus' collar looks very different to me, and more of his chest is exposed (I can hear the fangirls squealing from here).

Where have they announced Cloud of Darkness, Cecil, Exdeath and Kefka?
The only confirmed characters so far are -
Final Fantasy - Warrior of Light, Garland
Final Fantasy II - Firion, Emperor Palamecia
Final Fantasy VII - Sephiroth
Final Fantasy VIII - Squall Leonhart, Ultimecia
Final Fantasy IX - Zidane Tribal, Kuja
Final Fantasy X - Tidus, Jecht
I wish they'd announce Cloud already though, since it's blatantly obvious that it'll be him and Sephiroth

I can't wait for this game. The battles look quite awesome, although I'm thinking it'll be kinda hard to maneuver the characters, but I just get the impression for some reason. "Hack and slash" isn't exactly my type, but I've gotten used to it due to KH and Crisis Core. We'll see what this one has to offer.
And I'm sure they'll confirm Cloud soon enough. I wonder what the plot is going to be like though. Haven't really done any extensive research about this game yet.

I believe they haven't been officially announced, but that they've been shown in official artwork for Dissidia...

I kinda assumed Tidus would be included, as for Jecht that was a pleasant surprise to me! I wonder if any XII characters will be in it?

Okay, what the FUCK did Nomura do to Tidus!? What's with that collar of his shirt? And what's with the spiked thing on Jecht's shoulder? I'm sorry, but it looks like Nomura just totally fucked Tidus's face and hair all up. He looks nothing like he did in FFX...While it's awesome to get to see both him and Jecht in this game, I really hate what he's done to Tidus. He's one of my favorite characters and Nomura had to go and ruin him.

Sayuri, you've pretty much summed up what I was thinking  If Nomura had kept to his original designs, the game would be a lot more bearable. I've gotten to dislike his designs a fraction less, but now, it's refueled my distaste.
I dislike Zidane's, Tidus' and Jecht's Nomurafication the most. And the latter two were already Nomurafied, so that's really saying something.
