Yeah, unfortunately, it is true. I give her props as a voice actress, but, I just prefer guys playing guys.

It seems a lot of people want Vic Mignogna [Edward Elric] to voice Zidane in the American version. I wouldn't mind that. Vic is a bit of a drama queen [I've met him several times, so I stand by that], but he's a good voice actor.

I'm one of a few people who think Ultimecia was actually a perfect villain in FFVIII - but I still think it's sad that she probably got more face time in that single Dissidia trailer than she got in her actual source game.

The first part did nothing for me - it seemed like the old trailer in terms of displaying the combat system and characters... but what's this? Are the villains forming some kind of alliance?

Strikes me more of a Flare Star [or 'Star Flare'... I can never remember] than Ultima. Though considering the limited amount of spells Kuja deployed in IX as a boss, we can assume Dissidia provides him with a more diverse assault.



The ending of this trailer seems to give the plot some gravity and potential depth; I'm just hoping they don't over-do it and spoil our hype.

Sephiroth's a signature villain for Square, and a pillar of attention for those that're interested in FF. Regardless of whether you like Sephiroth or not, it's undeniable that he'll be at least one of the opposition that'll provide a potentially 'worthy' fight in a game he participates in as a villain, primary or not.

It grabs peoples attention at least.

I watched the new trailer 5 times in succession

I still love it xD

I was really happy with the showing of more characters in full CGI (my boy Squall is so hawt >__<)

But yeah, looks like there is some kind of story going on here and not just a simple versus thing.

When Squall and Ultimecia (and how dare that b*tch molest Squall all on her own ) were in battle, there was that little cutscene during battle, so I should think that there ARE going to be some mandatory battles in the game about the story.

Kind of the classic Good vs. Evil idea, but you do see Squall pointing his blade at a good guy too, so maybe it's an over-all tournament thing?

As for the voice actors, I do like them personally, but I'm kind of scared to hear the English dub when it comes out

I actually think Kuja looks more manly than how he was in FFIX, although he's still more effeminate than not; although Zidane's in-game graphic sprite looked rather pretty O_o

We only saw the CGI of Tidus, and he actually didn't look that different from FFX; graphic-wise it's pretty close I suppose though...

Of course Squall is prettier and hot as hell, teehee ♥

Ultimecia actually looked kind of younger to me than how she was in FFVIII.

And Sephiroth is, well, still the same

And I don't really care if Cloud isn't in the game; I know everyone is expecting it since Sephiroth is in the game, but meh *shrugs*

Then there's still the ground lava monster and the hand that's a manifestation from the sky

Anyways, the game looks very promising so far; I'd like to know what the story is about, so I hope that someone will sub the trailer soon if possible ^^

I wonder why some of the heroes were fighting each other? For instance, the Light Warrior (or was that Firion?) was fighting Zidane at one point, I think.
