I forgot to mention I love the dark, evil music that plays when the new FFIV logo appears at the end. Zemus/Zeromus' theme, perhaps?
EDIT:
Am I the only person who prefers the new logo? ...

Edit: I love the new Logo! Amano's art kix ass, though all he does in SE anymore is box/title art... I'm trying to figure out if it's Cecil or Golbez, though... I assume it's Cecil, what with it turning white at the bottom...

Not sure if I like the designs tbh. It was fine with III but I expect more from IV. Still looks awesome regardless though and if I ever pick up a DS I'll definitly get it.

The SD designs are a little weird for a game with a relatively heavy tone, although it does bring back a nostalgia factor to keep them in a 3D interpretation of a sprite. In general, I do think Square translated Amano's artwork pretty well - something that's pretty hard to do considering how painterly his work is.
I get so much more excited about this game every time I see a trailer. Square has certainly done their marketing research.

For the music, they had better ask The Black Mages to provide it, then the game will be heaps awesome, but if they don't, I will probably kill them all!

You mean the chibi design? Yeah, I'm not too fond of it...actually I just plain don't like it. Chibi sprites is one thing, but doing it with 3D models on the DS? It just looks like they stepped out of Animal Crossing...definitely doesn't suit characters like Kain and Cecil. But whatever, the FMVs are still gorgeous and the games are still good, so it doesn't matter.

Meh...as much as I like the Black Mages, I don't want them in my FF games. I'd much rather have the original OST's fully orchestrated or something. The OSTs are already good but if they gave them the royal treatment they'd end up being gorgeous OSTs like IX's.
