If this is true...then with SE's track record...should be about the end of 2010 by the time they *really* decide to bring it out. XD

That'd be really nice if it came out pretty quickly though. 2008 isn't too bad, that is if the report was for real.

I care less about this at the moment because I still have Final Fantasy XII to play yet. But thanks for the information, I've noticed it looks like a good game to look forward to.

SE have got too much on their plate the now milking the franchise to bits so you can't complain too much.

Why is this a suprise to most of you guys? FFXII was announced like 2-3yrs before its release

Anyway, I am not surprised. Its either a coincidence or Square is playing it smart. Right now the PS3 is doing shitty (thats what you get for relying on one system only, Square!).

On top of that FFXIII is still in development stages AND it wont be released untill the other 2 games in the collection are done as well. Judging by the versusXIII trailer that wont be done anytime soon either. On top of that not many people have PS3's yet... its too expensive for most with shitty jobs (like myself - I dont even own a Wii or a 360... mainly cause I dont want a Wii and there are no games that interest me on 360... yet).

Anyway, yeah... 2008 (or mid 2007 and above) will probably be the PS3's time... probably.

I doubt that that is in-game graphics... About the only company that puts that much attention to detail is Bethesda Softworks, the makers of the Elder Scrolls games.

LupineVoid there is a company known as VALVe

and they pay more attention to details than anyone else (as proven with Half-Life 2 so far). They went extremely far with that game as far as details go. Don't know nothin' about Elder Scrolls, except that its another lame MMORPG <.< (I'm a hater when it comes to MMO's)

Yeah, I know that! I'm a huge fan of their Half-Life series! I'm just saying, to me, Oblivion is more detailed and immersive due to the environments/character quality. And it's not an MMORPG actually, it's only single-player and encourages you playing as your fictional character.
