Translation of the trailer:
Text at the begining -
The world has been created 12 times, and the 13th time is beginning
Reality and destruction, are not defined by the Creator
That is decided, by each and every person who shares this world
And the in-battle dialogue -
Garland: Understand that there can never be harmony
Garland: For eternity I will fight against fate!
Warrior of Light: It is fate that this ends here!
Kuja: I shall perform for you, your own requiem! Hahahahaha!
Zidane: After that, the climax!
Thanks to Schala-Kitty of AC.Net for the translation

No, Dissidia is a PSP-only title. The only way to play it is to own a PSP.

At least Kuja and Zidane can Trance mid-battle. That's brilliant I hope you can equip Zidane with the double-bladed weapons though ...
|
Yeah, I'm sick of that too. It's just like "Oh look, it's Sephiroth and some fire. Meh" now. They've killed the whole thing with him now =/.
I'd like to see Zidane's double blades too. I don't see why they won't use them though.

Yea, that trailer was awesome. Saw it a day or two ago. I believe my reaction was... That's the most boner-inducing thing I've ever seen.

omg... this leaves me fascinating even more, i always thought that all the final fantasies were actually connected together and were divided into different time periods such as ffix came before ffviii and ffvii and ffviii came before ffvii and ffxii is going to be the future of ffvii and what they says that "the world has been created 12 times and the 13th is beginning" makes me even sure of my thoughts

A lot of people are saying that, but SE have said that it is going to differ largely from Ehrgeiz.
And, no. No FF's are connected at all. In any way, shape or form (with the exception of the compilation of FFVII, and x & X-2) so that's just a coincidence.

Actually, that's more a matter of whether you listen to the PR announcements Square-Enix makes. I honestly don't. However, Square has said that FFX and FFVII do occur on the same world several thousand years apart. Honestly, it's post game bologna, so I don't even figure it in as a factor.

No they don't. FFVII was set on Gaia, FFX was set on Spira . Also, don't you think that there would be some mention of the events of the other game, considering the fact that the world as they knew it almost ended? You need to find a more reliable source.

It comes straight from those damn Ultimania guides that Square-Enix's developers and producers wrote. The people that sat down and wrote the games we all know and loved, later sat down and described details about the game that were not included in the game. This was one of those details.
Note: I hate the Ultimania guides.

Gaaah, i want a PSP now.
That fight between Zidane and Kuja looks awesome But um...i really hope the american version gets a good voice actor for Zidane, because if i'm not mistaken, Zidane's voice actor is the same one who does the japanese Naruto....and that does NOT fit zidane.
And i agree with Pooley on that whole Sephi/flames thing. It's getting boring. Seriously, there are much more intimidating/powerful/psychotic villians than Sephiroth, like Kuja and Kefka and Garland and ExDeath. Hell, tonberries and cactuars scare me more than Sephiroth.
