I'm guessing that the three spin-offs will be decent, but not mind-blowing games to keep KH fans satisfied. The KH team has likely put the KH project on the back-burner while they split up to work on different games. Then, when the team is ready to regroup and put all efforts in the KH project, official production on KH3 will commence.

Anyway, by the looks of it (from inside the Dragon Quest V manual released yesterday), 358/2 is going to be released in Japan towards the end of 2008 some time which will hopefully be confirmed at the DKΣ3713 in August.
