Which Musics best? FFVI or FFVII? - Page 3

Meh, I prefer listening to FFVII's themes more than FFVI's simply because I played VII first. Stupid reason really, so I chose 'don't make me choose'.

Because they do both have great soundtracks.

FFVI: Yay!!!

FFVII: Yawn.

As I said in another thread, "One-Winged Angel" alone can't save the soundtrack.

While more of my favorites come from FFVII, I think that FFVI has a more solid soundtrack overall. Not to mention the fact that the sound quality of FFVII absolutely ignored many of the advantages that the Playstation could afford.

Agreed. It could have been great had things been even on the level FFVIII, but as it is, most of it sounds like a turd for the ears.

Meh, I have a hard time choosing between the both of them. I’m not a die hard fan of the soundtracks to either of these two particular games, but both are still very good.

I personally prefer VI. not just the OST. the piano collections as well is my favorite. it has a sweet European feel and I prefer it than the futuristic/modern feel.
