Utada Hikaru - First Love (Final Fantasy VIII)
I was bored a few minutes ago and went on Limewire and searched up Final Fantasy VIII (because it's my favourite FF Game).
I found a song called Utada Hikaru - First Love, for anyone who has Limewire, the file name is Utada Hikaru - First Love (piano instrumental) - Final Fantasy VIII.
Now I am in love with that game, I've played it over and over again more then I can count. But something about this song bugs me.. Where is it in the game?!? I keep listening to this song from the computer, I love it, but I cannot remember where in the world of FFVIII that it is used! I'm really upset about this because from the way the music plays, I can tell that its a pretty romantic part of the game, and I would love to have a save file before this song happens so I can watch it over and over again.
Now I thought that the only reason I can't remember it may be because its a piano theme.. Maybe the actual one in the game is a full orchestra? I'm not sure..
But yeah, this is really bothering me... Any help would be nice... If you want me to send it to you because you don't have Limewire and want to know what the hell I'm talking about, just post your email (or PM if you dont want everyone to see it) and I'll send it to you.
Urrg... This is really pissing me off. Love the song, though!

I'm actually curious about this. Are you really sure it's from VIII? And I'll try looking it up at FrostWire since I don't have LimeWire. I'll edit this in a few minutes.
EDIT: Um, it's definitely not from VIII. It does sound familiar, but can't really put a finger on it.
EDIT 2: Haha, no wonder it sounded familiar. A singer named Jessa Zaragoza sang an English version. She's actually a filipina singer, and I listen to some of her songs.

But yeah, I'm not sure if its from FFVIII or not, because I've played it so many times, and I haven't heard this song (or at least this version) in it anywhere... Maybe the uploader just screwed up the name, it might be from a different FF, because it sounds familiar to me.

Yea, I've never heard it. And its not part of the albums I have of hers. I have her 3 newest CDs, so unless its really old, it may have just been included on the OST.

On the file, it said the year was 1999 (Pretty sure thats when FFVIII came out). Would that mean anything?

Just coincidence. Trust me, it's not FFVIII, lol. I'm looking at the list right now and there was only one where they included "Final Fantasy VIII Soundtrack" in the name. The rest are just titled, "Utada Hikaru - First Love." Like you suggested, the uploader might have just screwed up.

EDIT: Arg, these things keep screwing with me, I downloaded another song I can't remember from FFVIII (Ooo, surprise)... Its file name is called Final Fantasy VIII - Sad Piano Theme. Now something tells me this is the same person who uploaded the other song, and is taking some meds that put him under the impression that these songs were from FFVIII?
