YES. The entire Chrono Cross soundtrack is just gorgeous, Yasunori Mitsuda is brilliant. But...this thread is for boss battle music <.<

Now technically, it's not boss battle music, because it plays right before the final boss...but seeing as how the final boss has no music, I think this will work.

I'm going to agree with FFX's "Otherworld." That song is kick ass, and it keeps your heart pounding throughout the fight. Honorable mention goes to FFVII's "One Winged Angel" and FFVIII's "Griever's Theme."

You're both combo breakers I was hoping we could keep the Yasunori Mitsuda chain going. I'm starting to find that, aside from the FF9 soundtrack, Mitsuda is actually a better composer than Uematsu.

I can't find a video featuring the song, but this is the song Awakening for the final boss in Xenogears:
