Most touching music mood
hey guys this is about video game music only. let's see which mood touches people's hearts the most. if there's any correction in the choices please tell me. thanks.

It depends on the mood I'm in. I can extremely sentimental, but also extremely blasé. I mostly prefer some sweeping, something with lots of strings, and some sadness underneath.

It's usually sadness and gentleness for me. For instance, To Zanarkand, Bittersweet Romance, Aerith's Theme, etc...really did it for me. I'm sentimental, so maybe that's why. But in fairness, those type of music are done in a very dramatic way, and it has the effect to actually make you feel the music and have serenity wash over you.

Sadnes and gentleness. The others bring out other emotions, if any. Sadness is the emotion that'll touch most. I wouldn't say fear touches people. That's not the word I'd use... Happiness is more likely to make people feel bouncy! I know happy music does that to me!

Meh, I’d have to say it depends on the mood I’m in as well, for the most part, Sadness/Gentleness music touches me the most.

then it should've been, what type of music are you most fond of?
sadness/gentleness touched me most. it soothes me when I'm tired and lonely. but other than that I'd go for royalty/courage because I enjoy themes like Cyan and some castle themes like Rebel Army from FF2.
btw, let's make Fear include Anger/Hatred. example is One-Winged Angel especially the part "those chosen by the planet" portrays such emotions.

Mostly happiness and excitement 'cause I like bands like Animal Collective and The Decemberists who always come up with something new. Songs like "Banshee Beat" (Animal Collective) and The Crane Wife 3 (The Decemberists) are brilliant for leaving you feeling uplifted.

I've gone for the sadness/gentleness option, even though I'm a macho, burley beast of a man 
Seriously though, Eyes on me in particular gets me every time; there's just something about it. As for Aeries' Theme, I've never liked an instrumental song so much. The music of FF is just immense.
