It's quite...catchy. I can't really put a name to it, but there is something about how the soundtracks were done that really got to me, especially towards the end of the game and particularly Aerith's theme. They did a great job on the instruments and my feelings for the soundtracks overall pretty much describes what everyone here has stated so far. =]

It was a nice soundtrack but there were some songs that I didnt like. But my favorite song on the soundtrack is Aeriths Theme.Very nice and relaxing. And so is Successor (I think thats what its called).
Because I believe in such a thing as being too late.

Having now finished it I can comment >.<.
Overall it definitely goes down as one of my favourite Final Fantasy soundtrack's, the last song 'Why by Ayaka' really annoyed me at first due to the timing (Zack dying) it made me feel as if they were trying to a happy scene out of Zack dying but now I'm hooked to that song...like badly, and Ayaka for that matter.
Definitely one of the best FF soundtracks in my opinion.

This soundtrack is awesome!! My favorite songs are 'The Burdened' and 'The Price of Freedom'. The Price of Freedom is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Takeharu Ishimoto sure did a good job with the music for CC. The vocal track, 'Why' is beautiful too.
