Get him to demand a pay rise, people shouldn't be getting paid full-time even if they are training for the Olympics. But you get a huge amount of money for sponsorships.
...aaand, the Russia/Georgia war events have now entered the Olympics after Georgia beat Russia in the volleyball. I only knew they were against each other in volleyball and judo (I think) after that neat little advert about Russia/Georgia in the Olympics with the slogan "Sport is born from war." came up.

Usain Bolt's 100m run - pretty astonishing. He was utterly dominany, never seen anything like it in the 100m. I think along with Michael Phelps we have the other star of the games already

I thought it was quite amazing the way he looked so relaxed when he ran, like he was just out jogging or something. xD Am I right in saying he's the world record holder too?
I watched the men's gymnastics the other day and was, as usual, amazed. o_o I thought that it was a shame on the Japanese (?) guy who fell badly off the rings though, I can't remember what place he came but it could've been sooo much higher, he was really good.
I wanted to watch the female gymnastics yesterday but missed it. >_>

Yeah Usain Bolt already had the World Record, but he broke it again today and ran 9.69 seconds.

He probably could have gotten it under 9.60 if he ran hard the entire way. The guy started celebrating with roughly 10m remaining in the race. Geez...and he still won by a large margin. Crazy.

Why care about anything? Why go to the trouble of caring?
People enjoy watching competition; they have all throughout history. Some watch it for the national pride. My family watches and thinks, "Man, I didn't even know that was possible.". It shouldn't matter; liking the Olympics is no different from liking any other sport, really.

Yay, U.S. is second! Not that it matters to me, but it's cool to know.

We're 3rd...the Aussies are not happy at all because we're ahead of them xDD
Does Bolt run another race as well? I'm sure he could break the WR in that as well, he is just unreal. Tbqh, Bolt's 2 gold medals and 2 world records equals Phelps' 8 gold medals and possibly even surpasses it.
