I was talking about Peyton Manning. I was saying that you couldn't say he underperformed because 1.) he threw for 400+ yards, which is a playoff high for him, and 2.) he marched his offense up and down the field for 3 quarters. The real reason the Colts lost was because they didn't play the whole 60 minutes and that their receivers dropped too many passes.

As a Chargers fan I was estatic about the result of the game with a San Diego win, but I do have to say I was surprised about the dropped balls from the Indy receivers as well. I know Marvin was hurt, but I think it was his first touch he got he fumbled the ball; he hardly ever fumbles the ball.

I just have to say that I'm relieved that the Bolts were able to hold on for the win with Turner in for LT and Volek in for Rivers to end the game. This shows that our D which had 30 INTS this season can hold up when our "O" takes a step back.

I'm rooting for the Patriots to tear the Chargers apart, but I want the Packers to win it all.

The Chargers are full of clowns. I want to see the look on the face of Philip Rivers when he realizes his team's going home the way they should: as losers.

Losers? Like losers who won the last 7 or 8 games in a row? Right.

I actually don't see how the Chargers can really be hated on here. Ok, so Merriman got caught with taking steroids last year...yeah and the Patriots haven't done anything illegal this year? Recording plays video and audio on players and coaches? Yuuuuup. They even lost a first round player over it in this Springs' draft. Wow, big loss. Bilichick can just shrug it off and try to finds ways around doing it again because he doesn't need draft picks. He's got the team he wants and needs to win wihtout next years rookies. Bilichick's a fag.

So their 17-0 so far. A classy team right? Yeah, how classy was it last year when they went to the middle of the Chargers' field and started mocking our players like Igor and Shawne Merriman. Psssh. Thanks God the Colts knocked 'em outta the Playoffs last year.

That is an insult to my Chargers pride, Von. ='(

Unlike other NFL 'clowns', the Chargers are actually backing up their words with play, and if you ask me, they might just be the NFL team that's most involved in the community. And how are they supposed to go home 'the way they should: as losers'. They've been winning, and they're a perfectly legit team. Apparently no one accepts that fact seeming we're from the 'soft' West Coast.

An insult? I'm targeting the Chargers--not their fanbase.

When I call them losers, that's my way of showing distaste towards them. Much like when you call the Patriot's head coach a faggot. You likely don't believe he's literally a fag; rather, you just don't like him very much.

They do a lot of senseless trash-talking. Watching Rivers run his mouth game after game is getting bothersome...and he's underachieved for the majority of the season. He's lucky he had a talented team to bail him out up to the second half of the Titans game, where he began to play well again. They're overly cocky...despite an ugly showing against the Titans and a very average showing against the Colts. The Colts themselves are the reason they aren't playing the Patriots this Sunday.

LaDainian Tomlinson is the only player I root for on that team. He's a class act and a spectacular player.

No need to rush to the defense of your team by providing random insights that don't relate to football, sir. They may be upstanding citizens, but I'll judge 'em on the field. ;D

How, you ask? Easy. They lose against the Patriots, forcing them to go home. In addition, as is customary of the defeated team, they'll go home as losers. That's how it'll happen should they lose, but I can't guarantee that they'll lose.

Unfortunately, I smell upset. The Patriots are due for a defeat...and I doubt anyone from the NFC can pull it off.

No, but it sounded like you were implying something more than just 'losers' in the context of losing the game.

Also, I also mentioned the 'community' thing because of aforementioned implication. Plus it helps home field.

"They do a lot of senseless trash-talking"

Every team does it. It's been part of the game for...ever.

"An insult"

You can't insult the team without insulting its fan base. Logically impossible.

Again, they're underdogs, but who knows? There's too many freaking intangibles with this team that any predication against them can just as easily go awry.

Now, what else can we talk about?

Watching Terrell Owens cry was pretty funny.

Watching Tony Romo sulk was uplifting.

Seeing Jerry Jones stare in disbelief as his Cowboys got beat was downright satisfying.

Well, I'm not going to bash Owens, 'cause he seemed like the best teammate ever. But then again, I missed that segment on Sports Center on ESPN that talked about 'the real reason Owens defended Romo'.
