As I live right outside of Baltimore, I'm legally required to support the Orioles, even though I'm not particularly all that interested in the sport.

We're also required to hate the Nationals.

I've seen teh Balitmore Orioles play twice now in my life. I saw them once out in philly in '02, and then last year I went down to Camdan (sp?) Yards to see them taken on the Rangers. Not the most interesting team to see play, but it was a fun experience.

Cincinnatti Reds fan here.

1.) Team to watch? (Is it still Boston, or is NY Mets, with their acquisition of Santana?)

2.) Trade prospects?

Baseball needs to implement a salary cap. I'm tired of watching teams like the Mets, Yankees and Red Sox purchase all-star teams.

But anyway, I'm just hoping the Phillies can compete in the NL East. The Braves are almost always a lock to be in the race...and the Mets are naturally the favorite to win the division.

Yeah, lol. I see the Yankees and Red Sox buy off great quality rookies and free agents and stuff. I doubt they even know what the farm system is supposed to be for since they can afford quality guys off the bat.

Poor poor West teams. Literally.
