Well it's only gotten from bad to worse for Arsenal if anything now, Man United aren't looking too good these days either. Tottenham are on the rise too which is a shame, was looking forward to them being relegated.

Been a bit of a funny season so far though, Liverpool joint top on points when they should be closer to 8th at this point in a season, both them and Chelsea royally screwed up on getting a lead at the weekend as well. Hopefully United will catch them up and we'll have a 3-way race for the title.

Rangers again in 2nd, Celtic on a fucking winning streak. It's like every other season all over again. ¬¬

Honestly not watched a lot of the premiership so far, but your right about man utd, their not a team i enjoy watching play but theyve been really poor this season, such a waste of money.

I see Chelsea winning the title. Arsenal are mystifying me at the moment with how poor we are, I really have no idea where the rot will end. Man Utd look rusty and not as good as the last few seasons, and Liverpool frankly will not last the pace despite what anyone may think. Benitez is a manager who knows how to win the European Cup but in the Premiership he's not so suited to winning it I think.

Spurs were never going to be relegated (as funny as it was to see their awful start), they have a decent enough team to finish outside the bottom three - it's hilarious watching everyone go nuts over Redknapp now as he takes them to yet another season in mid-table or the heady heights of 7th or something.

I think Arsenal's problem is that we're playing too sloppily. There seems to be too many stray passes going about, and in front of goal we're either lacking confidence or being over-confident. I question Arsene Wenger every time he decides to bring Nicklas Bendtner into the team. I've not once seen a display by him that makes me think he's top flight football standard.
And as for William Gallas, I'm willing to give him another chance. What he did was incredibly stupid, but he's still a great defender when at the top of his game. I think Wenger punished him fairly, and giving him the chance against Kiev tomorrow night would be the right move too.

Gallas certainly deserved to be stripped of the captaincy, he has not led by example at all over the last few months. I think he's on his way out by the end of the season to be honest. It's going to be a tough few months all round :(

Boro annoy the living fuck out of me.
It's EVERY season we manage to beat the better teams (save Everton and Villa) and when we managed to get a great 4-pointer out of the two we lose to bloody Bolton which made those 4 points seem worthless now.
I wish we would kick ourselves into gear when we play the teams we're expected to beat.

I hate the way if we start shit...we don't get into the game until the 60th minute onwards.

Don't worry, you're playing Arsenal in a few weeks, that's a guaranteed three points at the moment XD
*weeps at his own team's ineptitude*

Last nights CL results.

AaB Aalborg 2-1 Celtic

Arsenal 1-0 Dynamo Kiev

BATE Borisov 0-1 Real Madrid

Bayern Munich 3-0 Steaua Bucharest

Fenerbahce 1-2 FC Porto

Fiorentina 1-2 Lyon

Villarreal 0-0 Man Utd

Zenit St Petersburg 0-0 Juventus

A couple of posters I'd imagine would be happy after a couple of nightmare weeks to get a positive result. One other particular one will be hurting today, I'll be nice this time and not leave a user note full of mocking laughter for you. I actually kinda want Scottish teams to do well in Europe on the odd occasion.

Yes, even them.

My biggest surprise there is actually the Fiorentina result. I didn't see the highlights, so I don't know what happened in the game, but I really expected them to get the win. Italian teams are generally reknowned for their strength at home, at given their current form and such it's a surprise that they didn't.

Relieved at the Arsenal result, although I think everyone expected us to qualify from it. It was a particularly excellent display, but we deserved the win in the end. Kiev didn't threaten us too much other than Gallas' slip up.

hahahahaha i was waiting for that usernote man, i kept checking my profile to see if it was there.
The funny thing was, watching the game i couldnt get a proper picture on ITV it kept stalling. So the first frame had boruc kicking the ball into play then it froze....next frame its 2-1....
