Hahaha, how did you know?
23/05/08 - Leicester & Holloway part company
25/05/08 - Grant sacked as Chelsea manager
I have a degree of sympathy for both of them, Holloway had an amazing personallity but he was brought in too late.
Grant, meh, I don't like him all that much (I don't know why to be honest), but again, I can have a degree of sympathy for him. He faced an almost impossible task of trying to live up to Mr 'The Special One' Mourinho, and Abramovic is one of those chairmen who does something and think about it later.
As for Euro 2008 gooooooooooooooo Spain!...or maybe Portugal
Either way I hope one of them win.

Fucking get in there Donny! They're by far one of the best teams I've seen in the lower leagues for years, and they're one of the few that I can actually respect after a great show of sportsmanship a few years ago. So I'm happy for them going up to the Championship.
As for Euro 08... I'll go for Holland. I say they'll do well in every tournament but I'm always wrong. Got to be right some time. ><
Spain are like England. On paper they're a good team, but they can't function as a single unit.

I'm not the biggest fan of Chelsea as I was now but I think that Grant deserved a wee bit better and you could argue he had a better season than Jose had last year even though he didn't win a single trophy. Lost the league on the last day and Champs League final isn't too bad at all but Chelsea (the owner especially) are all about winning in the end.

To be honest, I was surprised that Grant got the job in the first place so it was no real shocker to me when he got sacked.
Apparently Chelsea are holding auditions for their next manager?

I'm surprised Mancini got sacked by Inter, I mean they did win the their league after all.
Anyway, apparently Scolari, Mancini and Hughes are supposedly in the line up to take over. But that audition thing made me laugh xD
Is it like one of those England manager vacancies where ANYONE can apply for the job as long as you're over the age of 18?

I think Scolari would do a sterling job at Chelsea, he really is a fantastic manager.

Scolari is a very good manager, and it would be interesting to see if he can be as good a club manager as he has been a national manager.
...wait why should I care about the next Chelsea manager? I hate Chelsea! XD

I don't necessarily care... but if I were Abramovich, I'd be hunting down Scolari for sure.
