Meh, United and Chelsea buy the title, they go on about how its hard to break into the big 4, I can't see Liverpool or Arsenal breaking into the top 2 at the end of a season for a while because Benitez just can't find good buys (bar Torres) to save his life and Arsenal always lack depth, especially with Flamini gone and Hleb looking like he's on his way.

Money will pretty much always decide where the title goes, that won't change very much in the near future.
Arsenal were only 4 points off the top I think so they can be looked upon as challengers if they strengthen a little bit after replacing the leaving players, they just slumped at the end of the season after leading for ages. Liverpool however will need to do a lot to prove that they are more than just a cup team with a far amount of luck, they don't have the quality of players that the other teams have and that shows in the league.

Deserved winners in the end during the match and throughout the tournament. To be honest I don't think many neutral fans would have thought Rangers would win it, Zenit just knew how to break Rangers down, they did the opposite to what Rangers did...get the ball and play possession in the opponents half whilst Rangers played possession in their own half...and what happened after the game, well there are no excuses for it...albeit it was typical of them and some fans can't take it that they lost to a FAR SUPERIOR team to that of there own.

I can take it since I accept that but I can still say to go fuck yourself with your tone about the game itself. Rangers luck finally ran out against a better side, I didn't see us wining after they scored since we again were playing it way too safe and had no cutting edge at all. We could have equalised in the dying minutes when we actually committed players forward but he had to blast it over.
Still happy we got this far though, hell of an achievement for the team we have.
Edit: Of course I'm not defending what happened with the rioters and shit, that was fucking ridiculous and am ashamed that happened.
Noticed on the news about Tommy Burns dying. I'm gutted about that, he was awesome in his roles for Celtic and Scotland.

As much as it pains me to say it, Man Utd are the far superior team in my eyes and shouldn't have any trouble beating Chelsea, despite Chelsea having players who have been in a major final like that before. Man Utd just seem like more of a unit that work with each other, whereas Chelsea tend to rely on two or three people to do the damage a little too often. And I think that's why they didn't quite win the title in the end.
And in a few hours Carlisle take on Leeds for the fourth time. We've got a 2-1 advantage after the win at Elland Road, and given that we have the best home record in the league really puts the tie in our favour. We were the first team to take three points off Leeds this season when they came here a few months ago. After the performance on Monday, I really think we've got what it takes to make it to Wembley in a fortnight. Part of me doesn't want to go though, because if we get there then you have to win. Defeat hurts too much, and promotion is not what we need right now. We'll do about as good as Derby have in the Premiership if we go up. =/

As a neutral I can say...scummy Leeds ...Darlo better win on Saturday...and Hull better be promoted to the Premiership, Barmby and Windass (ex-boro players) ftw!
Anyway, some interesting news over the past week, Joe Cole announces that he thinks Messi is better than Ronaldo...which, if he came to the Premiership and succeeded I would say he could be...and Ronaldo is looking for a move to Spain and will be looking at his options after the Champions League Final.
Man Utd won't be able to be a one man team if he leaves

We were awful last night anyway. First ten minutes were alright until Leeds scored, and that goal just took it out of us entirely. It was pretty obvious that they were tired after the performance on Monday night. On the bright side - it's better to go out now than at Wembley. And it's better to go out to a last minute goal than on penalties.
The rumour I heard this morning is that Real Madrid are lining a bid in excess of £40 million, with a wage of £200k per week for Ronaldo. I hope he doesn't go for that, because he'll just be making a mockery of football if he does.

"And no disrespect to Boro, but they are not a top four or even six team so to get beaten like that was a disgrace" - Micah Richards
8-1 much? It's funny how we have been the most successful team outside of the top for something like 15 years had more cup finals and put on, quite clearly, the best Europeans comebacks over the past 5 years at least.
The only reason we did badly this season was because fat Viduka was greedy and wanted more money (even though he has hardly played) and Yakubu spat his dummy out four days before the transfer window close so we had to get who was available...Mido...and he's only played like 5 games all season.
But we will see next season now that Alves has found his shooting boots hitting 6 goals in 6 games, Tuncay and Aliadiere will prove to be a steal in my opinion, they are far better players than what we bought them for...and Wheater is STILL developing
As for Ronaldo...
"Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo says he may consider his future at the club after next week's Champions League final."
I'd have Ronaldo go to Spain and Messi come to England anyday.
