I'm not going to get into the best league in the world nonsense again since it's pointless.
And you've only won once it the three finals they've reached in the last four years and even then Liverpool were very lucky to do so. This year has seen the English clubs getting the better of the foreign clubs for once but that's more showing the top 4 are near the top of their game against those who are on a down rather than showing the league itself is fantastic.

Six of the eight semi final spots over the last two years have been occupied by English teams. The league certainly is improving.
I can't understand at all why Ken Bates is still twining about getting docked 15 points. He broke the rules, and was punished. Why is that so hard for him to accept?

Probably because it's ruined Leeds chances of getting automatic promotion and he's being bitter about it. Pretty much everyone in footie does that no matter how much in the wrong they may or may not be.

Portsmouth have become awful all of a sudden, my money is on Cardiff to win the FA Cup although I don't want them to because a) They knocked us out and b) They shouldn't be in it.
But, Portsmouth only look threatening when either Defoe or Kranjcar are on the ball. They've lost the last 3 games (including against us today ) struggled against Newcastle and were lucky against West Brom.

I wouldn't count Portsmouth out, you'd imagine that he would make sure that the team buck up for the final.
Saw that Sven has been sacked there, bit surprising considering how much have improved since last season. Victim of high expectations I suppose after a fantastic first half of the season. Scolari is the only name linked to the post.

I wouldn't write Pompey off but if they don't hype themselves up and play better or become arrognant towards Cardiff they'll get turned over (like we did) and like Pompey did against West Brom (who were by far the better team).
I'm not sure though, without Defoe they look like they aren't going to get near the goal let alone score (unless Kranjcar plays well).

It is weird that the players would be playing badly with an FA Cup final around the corner, you would imagine that if you were in their place that you'll do your best to help insure you'll get picked for the game.
Speaking of West Brom they've been joined by Stoke City at the top of the Championship and will both be promoted to the Premiership next season. Nice to see Mowbray doing well after leaving Hibs.

I think we'll luckily nick it, but we don't deserve to.
After Scum just scraped survival last weekend we need to win something just to shove it in their face and since a spot EUFA is now sadly out of the question, the FA Cup is the only thing.
I don't know what's gone wrong with us all of a sudden with regards to league form but no one really seems to care about it. I suppose Mr. Redknapp has told the team not to bother so much with the league and focus on the FA Cup. Our recent form is more than proof of this, as ludicrous as it may seem.
Don't forget that we'll get a UEFA spot if we win the FA Cup anyway.

Who cares about Man Utd winning the title? It was always going to happen...we recorded the biggest win of the season so beat that!
