The FA Cup is a bit overrated when people say it's the best knock out competition since things like this don't happen very often, we see odd upsets here and there but nothing like Barnsley has achieved comes very often. It's good to see it happen.
I'm just happy none of the top 4 has a chance to win it for once. They only see it as something to add when going for the Treble. The League and Champions League still is higher in their list of priorities.
Also Newcastle lost again.

And Cardiff are beating Middlesbrough 2-0 at the moment, this FA Cup just keeps barmier perhaps.
You can't really blame the biggest teams for ranking the FA Cup third on their list of priorities, behind the League and CL. But it is good that for once we'll see a different team win it. Maybe we'll even see a decent final for once (2006 apart).

Something I realised today is how odd the table in the Championship is looking. I really hope that Bristol City and Stoke don't get promoted, because neither of them stand any chance of surviving in the Premiership. Stoke would maybe escape relegation with a bit of luck and with some signings, but I couldn't name a single Bristol City player.

I was thinking the same thing. Infact, I said to my old man today that no current teams in the Premiership should worry about battling for relegation next season because if any of those teams come up then they'll be going straight back down again.

West Brom could probably hack it, they always seem to somehow. But if it ends up with Bristol, Stoke and Hull then the only points I can see them racking up are against each other.

Yeah, The Baggies are a right jammy bunch.
I honestly can't see any point in the play-offs, I can't remember a time when a team has won the play-offs and stayed in the Premiership for longer than one season without being relegated.

Too long ago. Memory is shit. I can't even remember the play-off winners at all anymore.

Newcastle for the drop
Fantastic point for us against Arsenal yesterday and from Villa on Wednesday, though the ref cheated us of 3 points.
Which means we have now took 4 of a possible 6 from Arsenal this season...bring on Man Utd and Chelsea
