I just know it's a loan deal. Not sure on the length.
I think it might take a season for all of Liverpool's new faces to settle and gel together, and then they can maybe set up a decent title challenge.
I really do think Arsenal will have a better season. They're going to have to pull together a lot more without Henry, and I reckon we'll surprise a few people with it. I don't expect to win the league, maybe second.

I'd think that they'll do better without having to rely on Henry and force the players to take on more responsibility, pretty much everyone from the Premiership winning side from old is gone now and the players they have promise to make a damn good side.
I'd still think Liverpool and United are too strong for Arsenal to mount a serious challenge to them but with Chelsea the way they are then third isn't out of reach but they'll need to be more consistant with their results.

We've had a pretty good pre-season; won two trophies and the team has performed very well. Robin van Persie has been exceptionally good. Of course a strong start is the key, and we proved that last season by getting off to a bad one.
I think that Chelsea are possibly on their way out. They've been diluted with so much money, and at first the team managed. But over the last couple of years, there's been problems and the team doesn't seem to function as well.

Chelsea's biggest issue has been letting their good players like Duff and Crespo who put the effort in and made a difference go and brought in duds like Ballack and Sheva who because of their massive salaries and reputation prevented others like SWP and Essien playing except through injury. As you've said, basically the money has ruined them and if those 1-0 results they kept grinding last year go the other way then it could go very badly for them.
Personally though I want Sunderland to win it all.

Last nights game was absolutely fucking shite. My cousin never managed to get in because for some reason they say my season ticket isn't renewed but not as if he missed anything.
I'm looking forward to the league but I'm honestly not looking that much forward to Europe unless we get our act together.

No arguement there, I would be majorly pissed off if I had to pay to get in to see that. It was nice to have a 5th consecutive clean sheet but the rest of time was shocking.
I'm still hoping we qualify for the group stages so we get the money for next season but I've always been more concerned with winning the league this season rather than competing in Europe. Hoping Celtic get shafted tonight.

I saw a few highlights of that match on telly. It wasn't exactly thrilling. I'd like to see Rangers go through, just so that Britain have more teams representing them. I can honestly see the two Scottish teams, and both Arsenal and Liverpool getting there this season.
It would be nice to see Liverpool take a hammering though, just to rub it into their faces.

Dominating performance from us today. We really needed something like that to put fear back into those smaller clubs who would probably try and take advantage of us like they did in the past few seasons. Knowing Walter Smith, he would probably still be raging that we conceded 2 goals but it was an excellent performance, especially the last 20 minutes with 3 of our new signings bagging a goal, including an excellent debut from Steven Whittaker. I was really impressed by this lad this afternoon and hope he continues to do well.
Overall, I'm happy with the end result today.

I agree fully. 7-2 = fuck yes. Not happy that Celtic yet again win with the goals coming in the last ten minutes, can't wait for when their luck runs out.
City beat Man United today, that cheered me up a bit.
