The auditions we see on telly are not the first set of auditions.
Two guys from my school went and, bias aside, they're really good and, tbqf, exponentially better than the majority of wanks you see on the telly. They were both turned down at the pre-auditions but a tone-deaf Elvis impersonator was put through.
Ratings an that. <_<
