A woman went into a pet shop to buy a parrot. There were three there; the first £200, the second £150 and the third £25. She asked why the third was so cheap, to which the owner replied "oh, it used to belong to some whores in a brothel so its language is quite... 'colourful.'" The woman thought nothing of this, since she had no quarrel with swearing and bought the parrot.
She took it home, set up the cage in the front room and took the cover off. As soon as it could see the room, the parrot said "hey a new brothel!" The woman chuckled at that, and thought about calling some friend round for a bit of a laugh at her new parrot. Her two daughters then arrived home from school, and upon seeing them the parrot said "oh new workers!" The three of them had a laugh at the amusing bird and then went about their business. A few hours later the woman's husband came home from work, and when it saw him the parrot said "Dave! I haven't seen you for months!"
