Sometimes im glad that British weather is like this and sometimes I just wish it was like we were in the middle of the sahara so I can find an excuse to incinerate a couple of packets of burgers on the barbeque and be able to dive into our pool.

I do have to admit that when the weather clears up it tends to stay that way for atleast two or three days so as you said Feathers roll on another British summer

At least you guys aren't getting destructive weather. x_x We've had over 500 tornadoes reported here and that was only just last month. Today, the state I live in, had 2 touchdowns in one county. We went through a Tornado Warning today too. The rotation went right over us, but never touched down. The wind was pretty strong, we had hail the size of golf balls out here and the sky was black.

Weather here in my town has been pretty crappy lately. Just today as I walked out of my house rain started...and when I reched my destination....it stopped. Nature hates me.

Man my uncle when he had only just moved to America got hit by a golf ball sized chunk of hail and had to have has left eye put back in to place and have the bone filed and have some plastic cap replace it so all I can say is have your golf club ready when the hail starts.
