The only thing we don't want to see advertised in people's sigs like links to other Final Fantasy Forums. As Saix said, it's like a slap in the face. We don't mind you advertising to anything else, but we just don't want to see advertisements to other FF forums. That's really all it boils down to. It's rude to advertise your Final Fantasy forum and flaunting it all over your sig when you're in an FF forum and so the rule was passed. I also agree about making the Advertising board easier to find so it's not hidden and feel free to use that board to advertise your FF forum. Anything else, feel free to advertise it in your sig, as long as it's not Final Fantasy.

It is any forum. It's just things that don't relate to message boards which you can advertise.
In no part of the announcement does it single out only FF forums.

No forum advertisement in your signatures. Period. But you can advertise your myspace, facebook, deviantart, etc. in your signatures. No problem. =)

Just to save confusion, it might help to
1) Emphasise in the announcement that only forums can't be advertised.
2) Post it in a font that doesn't require you to squint in order to read it.
