Alriiiiiiiiight there  I'm Riku, as you can see, but feel free to call me Dave. I'm a former G-Mod and Section Mod of these forums and I'm one of the last from the original set of veterans we had here. These forums have seen their fair share of drama, due to me on more than one occassion, to be perfectly honest, but don't let that put you off

Absolutely. The ideal threads you could be brushing up on right now are Bump Them Up to Blue where we're campaigning for Lady Aerith and Saix to be promoted to Administrators as well. With a more permanant and hopefully more active site owner, we might finally be able to see some results.
Profile Problems have recently been occurring for us all, as well as some faults with the main page. Some speculate that it is the spiteful work of the original site owner, Josh Hawkman [Darkblade] but it's only speculation. We seem to think the problems are with the script and coding, so if you're new to that yourself, you might need to ask Belazor or another technically-skilled member of the forums.
As far as I know, many people are still experiencing difficulties changing their avatars and cannot seem to change them. However, this doesn't seem to affect everyone.
There was a fairly strong hope that we would re-introduce the Staff Appraisal Scheme and scenarios have been run throughout that thread.
If you catch up on these threads and whatever's presumabely waiting on you in the Staff Headquarters you'll be settled in no time.
By the waaaaaaay, you didn't mention much about yourself, you know, beyond your forum life. It might just be me who's interested though. I'm a nosey cunt.

Welcome. We can only hope you know what you're doing.  There's a lot of content in the Headquarters Lounge which you should read up on, so I'd advise you do so at some point. As already said, we'll all help you out in various fields.

Indeed. I'd offer him to ask me anything about the site but I thought that'd sound up-my-own-arse-esque. I suppose I didn't avoid it anyway. Since everyone else seems to be giving themselves titles, just call me the resident drama queen.

Welcome to FFF! It's nice to see we have a new admin. I'm hoping you're going to be good and competent and get this site in up and working order. We've needed an active admin for quite sometime now. We've also had some crazy troubles in the past which you can be filled on if you're interested in knowing, but for now we'll just keep our fingers crossed we can get things fixed and working properly on here. There are some posting issues and options we're currently having problems with. If you have any questions at all, we have no problem in helping out and showing you the ropes of the place. We've got a pretty decent site here I think, good members, decently low on drama, so you have a great site! Feel free to PM me with any questions at all that you may have. I hope you enjoy adminning the forums. =)
