Just because we've been asked about this a few times in the past couple of days, we figured we should make a sticky on it. There are basically two main reasons why you couldn't be able to post.

Reasons Why You Can't Post:

1. Users Awaiting Moderation
  • This is a usergroup that your placed into before your account becomes activated by a moderator. Basically, this means before you can start posting, an administrator or global moderator must approve your account first. This prevents any inappropriate usernames, forum "invasions", and helps to cut down on duplicate accounts. This changes whenever an administrator or global moderator logs onto to the Admin CP, and approves it.
2. Awaiting Email Confirmation
  • When you join, and you enter your VALID e-mail address, an email should be sent to your inbox, providing you with a link that you must click in order to activate your account. Now, if you have a spam box, or spam controls, that email could easily be moved or deleted. In the case that you can't find the e-mail, you should PM either an administrator or global moderator, who can do it manually for you.
Either way, if you're having problems posting, and you can't find the email, you're going to have to contact an administrator or global moderator.

Please be patient though! If you just joined, it might take a few minutes for your email to be sent. Also, there isn't always someone on to activate your account. I suggest you wait 24 hours before contacting an administrator or global moderator to find out what's wrong.
