Just a reminder.
The constructive criticism rule plays an active role in all threads in the killika section. This is a guideline that is active in Killika, regardless of the thread being a SOTW thread or not.
I've just noticed lately that some people haven't been reading the section's guidelines/assumed this rule was void in SOTW threads. So I reiterate: The killika guidelines thread applies to all of the subforums and threads in it's section, unless said otherwise by the administration team.

Concerning Access to the RPG Inferno
To avoid any more questions about how to access the RPG Inferno, we would like to inform all new members that, in order to access the RPG Inferno, you need to have 50 posts.
After reaching said post count, you must wait for your account to be given the necessary permissions. Just have patience.
~Sincerely~

RPG Guidelines
The RPG is fun, but if there isn't some basic guidelines, we get chaos, which is bad. With that in mind, here is a couple "dos" and "don'ts" for the RPG:
DO:
-Report any obvious problems or errors (like spelling mistakes) in the RPG by PM to any RPG Director
-Use the PM system and shoutbox for RPG Inferno related discussion only.
-Feel free to use the world map to warp around to different areas (For now, at least).
-Feel free to make parties against tough bosses.
-Use the monsters to level up. That's what they're there for!
-Feel free to post suggestions.
DON'T:
-Excessively donate gil to another player.
-Create duplicate accounts. This will suspend your original account and ban the dupe.
-"Power train" another account. Excessive, one-sided battles between players to level up a weak account isn't allowed. If you are caught doing this, your character will be reset.
-Do anything that would give an unfair advantage to another player.
-Spam the shoutbox. This includes posting any images in it (smilies are ok).
-Harrass or upset other players in the RPG.
-Try to convince members that your strategy is the best and that everyone else is doomed unless they follow you. This will only result in the game being modified to make it more balanced.
- continue to ask RPG Mods when new areas are going to be added (added by Koloth)
- continue to ask RPG Mods to help by teaming with you in areas you are too weak to go to on your own. Particularly if the area has some special reward. (added by Koloth)
- abuse aspects of the game to give your character a unfair advantage, ie, NPC's that give money, items, etc. ( added by Tielknight)
Every rule that normally applies on the forums also applies here! That means no posting porn, flaming (though fire-based spells are allowed), or trying to "break" or "beat" the RPG. Also, you may have noticed that every time you post or make a thread, your gil increases. Obviously, if people start taking advantage of this (excessive posting to increase gil count), then the feature may have to be removed. And that wouldn't be fun, would it?

Hyperlink Large Images
Just as a quick reminder, if in a post you are going to incorporate a picture that is significantly larger than the page width, please hyperlink to the picture instead of posting the picture as an image. Some members have dial-up connections and cannot load these pictures in a reasonable time frame.
To properly create a hyperlink, please follow these instructions. When posting a reply to a thread, type a word in your sentence you want to use as the clickable link and then highlight that word. In this case the word is "Potato". After the word is selected then click the button circled in red. A dialog box will appear. Please enter the URL (http://www.fff.com/picture) and click "OK". In this case the URL is "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potato".
