This battle is between Raymond Zorich and Josh Lancaster Van Greg. So no one else post in here please.

The battle will commence once both of us have posted our profiles in this thread.

Each post must be at least a paragraph. The post count for this battle will be 12 each.

Since i made the challenge.Squall will choose the place.

Name: Raymond Zorich ( everyone just calls him Rayzor)

Age: 22

Race: Human

Eyes: A cloudy lifeless grey color

Hair: Medium length spikey black hair with silver highlights

Appearance: Rayzor wears black leather pants and a black tanktop. Over his shirt he has a long black cloak that drags when he walks. On his back his katanas Harmony & Dischord.On his feet metal plated combat boots. Rayzor has no distinguishing marks , scars or tattoos.

Height: 5'8

Weight: 179.5 LBS

Title: Lord Of Blades

Class: Assasin

Occupation: Leader of the A.O.A ( Assasins Of Apocalypse) an underground network of assasins and thieves that live deep in the countryside of japan their exact whereabouts are unknown.

Parents: Mother: Daughter of a peasant farmer. Father: A wandering merchant from Germany.

History: Rayzor being the product of an unwanted pregnancy, was always shunned by his mother and father. To them he served as a constant reminder of how bad life could get when you had little money. By the age of 6 Rayzor could no longer stand the feelings of abandonment he got from his parents. So he decided to run away.

A year or so later, while he was walking through the countryside he was picked up by the A.O.A and taken in as a servant. After about a year or so the assasins could see this boy had great potential. They relieved him of his servant duties and started his assasin training. The boy quickly mastered his stealth training surpassing even his teacher after just a few months. Weapon training however was by far his favorite. He was able to channel all his pent up rage and agression here . It was like he could escape all of his confines and not worry about anything. He felt free. Next came his arcane studies. He was given a list of 1000 different types of arcane magic. He was then told to pick two, as all assasins are required to learn no more than two arcane magics. After carefully balancing the pros and cons of all of the choices he came to his decision. Fire magic and metal manipulation. Over the next ten years of his life he devoted all time he had to his training, and quickly rose through the ranks attaining the title of Grand Assasin by the age of 19.

One day the leader of the A.O.A. called Rayzor to the grand throneroom. Upon entering the throneroom Rayzor was attacked by the leader of the A.O.A. and the only assasin to reach a higher rank than him the shadow assasin Ryuta....after a long drawn out battle Rayzor dispatched of Ryuta, leaving only himself and the leader of the A.O.A.. With the demise of the shadow assasin Ryuta the leader of the A.O.A. knew he had been defeated. He begged for mercy. Rayzor decided to spare him. As Rayzor turned to walk away the leader of the A.O.A. lunged at him. With one swipe of his blade Rayzor beheaded the leader of the A.O.A.. Upon the leaders death Rayzor proclaimed himself new leader of the A.O.A. and bestowed upon himself the title of Lord Of Blades.

Weapons: Harmony & Dischord. Harmony: A katana with an ivory handle with writing etched in silver. Dischord: A katana with an ebony handle with writing etched in blood red.No one knows how they were made or where they came from, but upon the defeat of the original leader of the A.O.A. Rayzor has had them with him. they never leave his side. Both katanas measure 54'' in length

Rage & Hate: Combat boots with metal plates on the toes and on the heel. Can easily crush an opponents ribs with a single blow. Only named Rage and Hate simply beacuse they are only used when Rayzor becomes angered and enraged.

Abilities: Fire magics: The ability to conjure flames from nothing. He can create flame shields or barriers to keep people in or out . Can imbue weapons with flame properties. Can also breathe fire and throw fireballs.Also has the abilty to rain fire from the heavens.

Metal Manipulation: Using any metal that he can get his hands on , Rayzor is able to construct blades or shurikens from it. He can also make physical copies of Harmony & Dischord.

Stealth: Able to move at high speeds without making a sound.

Attitude: Cocky and carefree. Doesnt care if he lives or dies as long as he gets to hurt someone.

Ultimate Attack: Blade Art: Senko-jin..... A flurry of sword slashes so fast they can barely be seen by the naked eye.

Magical Spells:
1) Sanctuary of Angels: Josh uses this holy spell to heal the wounds of his target.
2)Fires of the Ancient: Josh's swords are sorrounded in flames and then he hurles it at his opponent dealing searious damage on contact.
3) Fake Dreams: Causes sleep on one target by using a magical mist.
4)Cold Grave: He creates huge blocks of hard ice and then he hurles them at his opponent. Deals 15 hits!
5) Shield of Holiness: Blocks any upcoming attacks with this shield created with the holy power.
6)Inmunity: Makes Josh inmune against a random element and allows him to resist five attacks made from elemental atributes.

Small Bio: Josh was born in a wealthy family of nobles. He was taught the skill of wielding the sword by his father, the great Captain of the Crimson Unit Sir Maximilian <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Lancaster</st1:place></st1:City>. His mother, Christine Van Greg, raised young Josh and taught him everything he knows about always doing the right thing. At the age of 14, his father gave him his first swords named “Fate and Redemption”. At the age of 16 he became the head of the Aelaria Brigade and he won his first battle against the enemies of his country. His future was bright but, as the time passed, Josh’s heart felt empty. One day he abandoned the Aelaria Brigade and he went to travel the world as mercenary, possibly searching for greater adventures.<o:p></o:p>

Illusion: Josh runs at towards his enemy and then he slashes through it at an incredible high speed. <o:p></o:p>

Eternal Phantasm: Josh ran towards his enemy and begins to deal numerous attacks. After landing ten hits, he steps back and then he slashes trough his opponent using both swords.<o:p></o:p>

Final Dream: Josh jumps high into the air and then he lands a devastating blow at his opponent, slashing with his swords surrounded in blue flames. Then he appears behind his opponent and he slashes through it using both swords as he leaves behind a trail of blue flames.

The battle will take place at the Holy Ruins of the Kingdom of Arnazil. A kingdom that was lost since ancient times, a place only known in legend. It was believed that this marvellous city was once the center of the human's knowledge, a proud jewel that shined next to the shores of the Madian Sea. Everything was right until that tragic day seventeen years ago. Seventeen years ago the city was destroyed almost erased from the face of the earth by the furious wrath of the sea. Now, only a small ammount of rubble is left instead of the once glorious city. It is rumored that the mass of land in which the city was established was drifted and carried away to one of the farthest corners of the ocean creating a group of islands known as the Forgotten Sea. Now, two warriors have arrived at the ancient city ready to face each other in a final battle that could change their own destinies.

Raymond Zorich, Rayzor as he was called by all who knew him, stared down at the wrinkled bit of parchment in his hand.It read " Raymond Zorich lord of blades ...leader of the A.O.A. grand assasin. The time has come for us to meet.Holy ruins of the kindom of Arnazil.The parchment was not signed however.Rayzor discerned one thing from this parchment the fact that whoever had written it had called him by his full name.No one ever called him by his full name. Clearly this person had no idea what they were getting themself into. Rayzor glanced around anxiously.He had been waiting for about an hour and the sun was starting to set.Rayzor hated waiting. Just as he was about to leave he heard a voice behind him."You're just in time." said the voice.

As Josh arrived at the Holy Ruins of Arnazil a strange feeling was emerging from deep inside of Josh's heart. The sun shined with a soft light, iluminating the once proud city. He walked through the ancient kingdom, wearing his green royal tunic, his silver armour, a long white cape and his silver gloves. Josh was wielding his twin swords, Fate and Redemption, two long swords crafted by the best blacksmith of the new Republic of Arnazil. Josh came here to see the man he was expecting to meet at this long lost world. Behind Josh layed his small both which he used to get here. The Forgotten Sea behind him remained still, quite somehow as if it were frozen in time. After walking for few hours Josh arrived at the Main Plaza of the City. Huge statues of knights, dragons, and angels decorated the streets of the Mardian Plaza as if they were depicting the greatest kingdom of the world. In there he saw the man known as Raymond Zorich, an old comrade that fought along side Josh in the great war of the three kingdoms.

"You are just in time Raymond. Finally I can talk to you after all these years...."

Rayzor turned towards the voice."Josh is that you?" he stammered. "You sent me this?" Rayzor flashed the parchment towards his old friend. "Why this place?" he asked. It had been a long time since he had seen his friend. He didnt quite know what to make of this "reunion". He couldnt put himself past the feeling he had been here before. It didnt "look" familiar, but it certainly felt it.He looked around, it was a beautiful place. So peaceful and brilliant."To what do I owe the honor of your presence" he asked.No response came. "I see you brought your swords with you." he said smirking. " Just like old times?" he asked as he unsheathed his katanas Harmony and Dischord.

Josh smiled and nooded his head in response to Rayzors' reply. He unsheathed his dual swords, Fate and Redemption. The sun was setting, the sky began to turn black and a soft air flowed through the ancient ruins. Josh began to use his dual blade stance as he stared at Rayzor. "Yeah, just like old times......it had been six years since we had our last fight. How about having a one on one duel like the ones we had before when we were kids?"

Rayzor looked at his friend"All right lets do this!" he exclaimed. He rushed towards his old friend with blinding speed.Everything was a blur to him, everything except his target.As he neared his target hi lept high into the air."Lacarnum!" he yelled as a fireball formed in front of him. He swung his katanas at the fireball with such force that it sent the flaming mass hurtling towards his opponent. He then used his skill with metal manipulation to make a copy of each of his katanas which he hurled behind the fireball."See if you can stop that!" he laughed

"See if you can stop that!"

Josh saw as Rayzord hurled four Katanas behind a fireball at him. "You underestimate me as ussual!" Josh stepped back and then he dashed towards the attacks. Before he could get hit by the fireball he casted a magical shield while exclaming: "Shield of Holiness!" The fireball disappeared when it came in contact with the shield and then Josh dodged two of the incoming blades and he blocked the other tow with both of his swords. After that he landed on the ground, jumped back high into the air and he said-"Fires of the Ancients!" Suddenly his swords were surrounded in furious flames and after that he hurled them both swords at Rayzor. "Take that!"
