Pokémon. What marvelous creatures. It seems they contain the essence of life themselves, for no matter what, they can not die. Within each of them is a power unknown to humans, but desiring powers nonetheless, humans went to capture these magnificent beings. He, however, was never interested in this, but destiny befall upon him and soon it was he who was destined for greatness. It was something that couldn't be helped. This person was Septimus. Septimus Ignatio.
Transversing the world in order to find what and how these things existed, he did indeed succeed. And the answer was....other pokémon. But what made him come back to the town of Twinleaf? It was a calling. A calling in which he desired to test others. This town was his home, and his final resting place. As he reached back and grabbed a two pokéballs from his back, it expanded and shaped into his hand. The balls were made of pure black, different from what other people had. Tossing them up into the air, a bright flash occurred in both balls and soon an outline of what seemed to be a bug and a fox formed.
....Lucario and Pinsir were released.
Pinsir and Lucario stood there, standing side by side, waiting as if they were trained beyond belief. The rugged bug chopped his pincers twice and Lucario pretended to fist fight.
His Shaymin, his beautiful Shaymin. His research ended up with this Pokémon.; the creator of life. His eyes sparkled when it was released. To think that his whole journey ended up where he stood. It was sort of ironic to know that this place was where he caught Shaymin. Yet, this Pokémon had to be contained in order for secrecy. His eyes wandered the field before letting out a smirk.
"Come on, people," he started, "I know you're out there."
(Short and horrible post, but whatever)

A young girl bearing a long rope of a braid was wandering back and forth throughout Twinleaf. If her braid didn't attract curious eyes, her cloak and fairly unusual attire certainly did. Following not two feet behind her is a large, cream-colored feline bearing a somewhat curled tail, six noticeable whiskers, a black trim around its ears, and a red gem embedded in its forehead. Its better known as a Persian to those who shared knowledge in such creatures. Anyone who saw the pair would know that this girl is a Pokemon trainer in the making.
Although at the moment, the girl looked rather frustrated and very lost. Had she stumbled into the wrong town? There was one way to find out...
Out of her pocket, she pulled out a purple cell phone and flipped it open, holding down the '8' key. Once the speed-dial kicked in, she stopped and held the phone up to her ear, waiting almost impatiently. The Persian stopped and sat beside its trainer, rubbing its head against her for attention. The girl stroked her Pokemon behind its ears throughout three rings before someone finally picked up.
"'allo?" chimed in a teenage male's voice.
"Kyros, you said there was someone you wanted me to see in Twinleaf!"
"Calm down, Kyria," her elder brother sighed, "I thought you were better with directions than this."
"Saying 'there's some guy in Twinleaf who wants to fight' and hanging up hardly qualifies as directions."
A chuckle emerged from the other end.
"...where are you, anyway?" Kyria asked.
"Jubilife."
"You're always ahead of me, why is that?" Kyria pouted, though her brother couldn't see.
"A bike is a useful investment. You should get one."
"Oh, nevermind," the sister sighed, shaking her head and dismissing the topic. "Could you at least tell me what he looks like?"
"The guy in Twinleaf?" Silence lingered between them for a moment, as though he was trying to recall. "...I think he's wearing a suit."
"Like a business suit?"
"I guess you could call it that."
"M'kay," she nodded, taking note of it. "Thanks, bro."
"No prob, sis."
Kyria flipped her phone shut and slipped it back into her pocket. Her hand was nudged and she looked down, seeing her Persian was annoyed with the lack of attention. She smiled and scritched the feline behind the ears.
"Won't be long now, Rune," she told it, referring to a nickname she's fond of calling it. "Just gotta find some guy in a suit."
...then again, Kyria didn't realize that she was standing just barely out of
the earshot yet well within eyesight of the man she's searching for.
