Your favourite game soundtrack?
I have a few, particularly the ones from the Metal Gear Solid series.

I'd have to say that the Final Fantasy X and the original Metal Gear Solid soundtracks are my joint favourites.

I tend not to like game soundtracks like those. I prefer ones that have actual songs, mostly from EA games. Need For Speed Underground 2 had a pretty decent soundtrack as far as they go on games. FIFA games usually have half a dozen good songs on too. 2003 in particular had good ones. On a few occasions I put it on just to sit and listen to the songs.

By far the Legacy of Kain series. Each track gives off a very impressionable sound of power, eeriness and a climactic feel. Soul Reaver 1 seems to have the better sound track, though Defiance isn't far behind in terms of quality considering a fair few of the songs are re-engineered versions of the aforementioned.

Second up would probably be FFIX. Distinctly medieval with the types of instruments and styles, and Kuja's along with Necron's battle themes are just... lovely. <3 They're even on my playlist.

Well, each of the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts soundtracks are already a given for me. Other than those, The Legend of Dragoon has some nice pieces on it, as well as the odd tune from The Curse of Monkey Island - that theme is just amazing.

I quite like the themes from Starcraft games. Also, it seems that every bloody tune played on The Sims gets stuck in my head when I play it. xD

I always liked the GT3 soundtrack, mainly because it had Just a Day and Buck Rogers by Feeder on it, two of my favourite songs ever. <3

Anyone who has played Parodius should agree with me that it's music was just amazing.

Well let's see, besides FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, and FFX, definitely Chrono Cross and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. I've got the full set soundtrack for Chrono Cross and it is just perfect! Really makes me feel relaxed. Lunar 2 is also very good. The music's quite soft, but some are upbeat and fun.

The Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series is a given for me. The orchestra themes and the couple of more modern songs were pretty damn awesome.

The .hack//G.U. series has some good field themes, and I absolutely love the intro of vol 3

As well as Persona 3; got some cool pop and jazz kind of tunes I'm diggin' when I normally not into that style of music O_o

Star Ocean 3 had some interesting retro-ish style rock-ish game music ^^

Musashi the Lengedary Swordsman had some decent stuff too; not sure how to describe it, but it's like soft-core tech music I guess.

There's more game music I like I'm sure, but those were the ones that came to mind right away.

i like the soundtrack from the Final Fantasy series and Kingdom Hearts series, my all time favorite would be from Castlevania Sympathy of The Night, the music from that game is awesome
