Possibly guys are like that because most women don't like computer games either?
But one of my ex's was awesome at mariokart! She'd beat anyone. I had to pratice my ass off to beat her. lol but it was a good to battle it out with her, was good banter.
Anyway I don't have a problem getting beaten by girls, as long as it's not too humilating, but that's the same regardless of sex.

Of course there are girls too who want to win.I must agree that men win this title but there are always exceptions.I for example in every RPG want to reach the characters to lv99 and gain all their abilities. It just feels like you have power, doesn't it?

I don't usually bother with getting my characters up to level 99. It's just a waste of time, unless I feel the urge to beat that bonus boss, or the final bosses are really hard.
*shrugs*

I think when I do it, and I havn't leveled everyone up to 99 in all my games, it's because it's nice to have everything done and I feel satisfied with the total completion. It's soothing.

I would find beating an rpg the lowest level you can to be more difficult, and have more bragging rights than having your party members be level 99. To be honest, getting to level 99 just seems like a waste of time to me. =/
I use to be very competitive in World of Warcraft. Before the first expansion, I was determined to get a full tier 2 set, which I did. Also when I pvped by myself I was determined to get the most kills. It was such a great feeling that my name was on top of the list when I use to pvping in battle grounds. Too bad I suck at FPS like Quake 4. Ah well, I have fun playing a medic in Team Fortress 2.

Duuude, same here! When I get beat by some boss, I usually spend hours training until I'm strong enough to not only beat the boss, but to utterly disfigure it. I take it personally when I get beat by AI-controlled characters...which is pretty sad. Oh, well.
