I'll admit it is a bitch trying to work yourself up from just a Yaris or whatever you buy, but once you've made a few hundred thousand it is amazing. Way better than Burnout, which is really something because I love that game. Crash mode is addictive.

I'd re-arrange every game I know in that list but I'm glad they've all been included. Disappointingly, my personal favourites are all near the bottom, including (but not specific to) Dragonball Z, Starcraft and Kingdom Hearts.
How the shitting hell Pokémon is so high when it's so pish (and every game is the fucking same) is beyond me.

Looking at the list is should be labelled the top 100 best gaming series not games. The Mario name has sold over 200 million alone itself and the each of the main Pokemon games sell 10-20 million every time so it's no surprise that they're so high up the list.

Really? The sims is there? I can't stand those games. I play games to escape from life, not to live it. If I wanted to live it, I wouldn't be playing games, I would be doing other things.

In fairness, it's not "Your Favourite Games," it's just best-sellers. Unfortunately, for statistics, the number of sales doesn't necessarily reflect the reception. I personally hate Pokémon games but I have a decent few of them in my cupboard, somewhere. Granted, I liked them at one point ... but you see my point, hopefully, that there's not necessarily a correlation between the two.
