The Most Malicious and Sadistic Video Games of All Time [OPINIONS]
What, in your opinion, are the games that deserve to be one if not THE most sadistic video game that you have ever played, witnessed, or heard about?
Games that had made you either cry, yell at the TV, and/or toss the controller across the room like it was some kind of rubber ball (which it isn't).
Mine would have to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES. AT first it was alright, discounting the fact that even though you had 4 turtles to play the game with, dying with one resulting in you starting the game all over again with a different turtle. The truly bull part was when you had to go into the dam or something and the whole thing was infested with poisonous...seaweed that when touched automatically killed your turtle without so much as a fight. It was impossible to get through and eventually I just gave up since I thought it was outrageous that a 4 pixel turtle would be expected to swim right through a 3 pixel gap.

I so have to agree with you on that, I always managed to get past like the first area then Id be hoplessly stuck on the second bit, was it just after that stupid dam? I also gave p on it, I just couldn't do it, it drove me absolutely mental
I had ghouls and ghosts for the megadrive and I could only complete it with the invincible cheat
I also include KH on this list, I'm sure people will think I'm mental, but seriously I have never been so close to having a heart attack than with these games. BP as through the fecking roof

Sadistic...? Well, I watched my husband play Manhunt a few years ago and that's pretty damn sadistic to me. Lotsa controversy, that's for sure.
But games that made me so frustrated to the point of crying...let's see...I do remember when I was a kid, my bro and I were playing Street Fighter on Sega Genesis. He and I couldn't beat Cammy and Bison, and we were both in the verge of tears. Heck, I even tried the whole "tie-a-red-band-around-your-eyes" (Karate Kid) and played blindly, but to no avail. =[ We threw the remote control on the ground and buried our face on our pillows. It was THAT bad.

I never did figure out how to get past the first boss.

xD
I always got stuck on the very last bosss, that used to drive me up the wall, I could never beat Robotnik on that sky fortress, Id always get hit by those balls or beams whatever they were. Recently I FINALLY did it then proceeded to lose my last life on that meta sonic guy. I was NOT impressed
It just did my head in that I could get through the whole furking game then lose every last life and continue right at the end
I used to lose a lot of lives on the bos in the casino place aswel

Sadistic? In terms of difficulty, I'd go with Ninja Gaiden. That game'll beat you to the ground and rape you. Foolishly, I tried beating it on the "hard" difficulty setting. Didn't make it very far. Those stinking ninjas with the exploding shurikens picked me apart.

Yeah, this thread took a lame route w/the words 'sadistic' & 'malicious'...I was gonna say Chiller...

But for stupid difficulty, I might go for...idk...maybe Capcom Vs. SNK 2...Shin Gouki/Akuma & God Rugal were insanely, stupid hard for me...mostly Shin Gouki with his rediculous speed...V_V

Okay...the 'Most "Chiller" Video Games of All Time'. That describes what I'm asking of you perfectly.
