Guilty Pleasure.
Like me, everyone has their own little guilty pleasure in a favorite game. Some people like to Teabag people they kill in FPS games, others like to cackle at the dead noobs in World of Warcraft. Soo, whats your " Guilty Pleasure"?
Mine happens in the Fallout Series, Mainly in Fallout 1 and Fallout 2.
It is not a gun or anything like that, but a "perk" or trait your character starts with. You get to choose from many that impact your resistance to elements, starting stats, etc. Then there are a few which are just evil. One of those is Called "Bloody Mess". Basically, And I quote,
Quote:
|
"By some strange twist of fate, people around you die violently. You always see the worst way a person can die."
|
I always choose this perk when I start a new character, why? Because I like watching people's innards fly into oblivion, their bodies get cut in half, they literally implode from a grenade or a flamethrower lighting them ablaze like a human torch. Soo much fun.
Soo, whats your "Guilty Pleasure"?

I'm gonna move this to a forum containing more general topics related to videogames.
Moved to Rocket Town
This is a pretty good topic! I'm surprised no one's posted on it yet.
Anywho, I do my fair share of "teabagging" when I play FPS games such as Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4, but I wouldn't consider that a guilty pleasure. I feel no guilt in doing it, after all.
Occasionally, I'll exploit in-game glitches. Take Gears of War, for example. I'll use glitches every now and then such as "crab-walking" and "weapon-sliding" to gain an advantage over the competition. It's fun, but I do feel a bit guilty for...you know...cheating. Normally, I'll only do it in response to other glitchers or players who I find distasteful...just to piss 'em off.

There was once a day when I'd be embarrassed after losing at a videogame against a little kid. I half expect 'em to beat me nowadays.
Videogames have become so incredibly popular, resulting in children of younger and younger ages getting into them. Youngsters seem to become adept at games such as Halo suprisingly quickly.
But yeah, another guilty pleasure of mine would be Animal Crossing. I can spend hours altering the interior design of my tiny, virtual house. Something about that game is addicting...

*snorts* only reason that the 9 year old kid is so good is because he has no life. one of my other guilty pleasures would be playing this FF nonstop. i got a new game two days ago, just stopped playing it today.

Let me see...I do like to die on purpose in Metal Gear Solid just so I can hear either Roy Campbell, Naomi Hunter, or Mei Ling call out to Snake, "Snake?! Snake! Snaaaaake!" and hear Snake screaming or groaning loudly in the background. I find it so funny. xD

Suki, you need help.
Another one i thought of would of been in Halo 3 ( when i still had it ), I would of waited until someone got on a turret or went to their favorite camping spot, sneak up on em and plant a plasma right in their face <3 Ahh, countless hours of replays is fuuuuuun.

I just love moving the camera angle around in games, so you can get a close up of characters. -amareetperve-
Its like....-zoominoncutestuff- OHAITHAR.

On the subject of letting things die.
I like to let sonic the hedgehog drown. So I can see the counter and the impending doom music, and to top it off. his expression when he does drown.

Naughty naughty. That'd work with Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball! That game's poop. The women can't save it from having poor gameplay. Oooh...or the Guy Game. Haven't played that one, but I hear there's lots o' boobies in it.
Sacrificing friendly, happy-go-lucky civilians to the Chapel of Skorm in Fable is pretty satisfying. Listening to their conversations as you lead them into the chapel for torture is hilarious. The music becomes grim and everything becomes dark as the defenseless victim is thrown into the flames.
Makes me feel guilty sometimes...especially if I sacrifice traders. I love those dudes.
