Best Video Game Openings
Which games has the best intro movies? They can be the best because they look cool, good music, awesome graphics...whatever the reason.
I nominate Soul Reaver 1's opening.
It was especially awesome if you had played Blood Omen before it. You know that the character you played as all through the game went on to be a vampiric deity and rule the planet. Badass to the core.

I'm partial to Final Fantasy X's mainly due to the fact I love the game overall, Otherworld music was killer, and the graphics still today are jaw-dropping for a video game. it's a great start to an amazing game and really sets the stage for the visual beauty following the intro.

I quite like Chrono Cross' intro video. The music went well with it, and "epic" and "grand adventure" comes to mind as I watch the opening scene.
FFVIII also caught my interest due to the song, "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec". One of the best songs I've heard.

In Final Fantasy, X and Kingdom Hearts II win it for me, both of which have amazing songs, which are successful in starting off the atmosphere of the games.
Outside of Final Fantasy, I'm going for The Legend of Dragoon, Breath of Fire IV and various Dragonball Z games, all of which are blatantly colourful - both visually and metaphorically.

Im stuck somewhere between VII & X.
There wasn't really all that much to VII but I loved the whole train shizz and Aerith at the beginning thinking she was just soime randomer. I thought it was pretty epic actually....
