Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!
Actually, this started in a thread on Zelda, but I thought it would be interesting to hear other people's thoughts on this in other games.
There are some people that actually find Link's screams in Ocarina of Time or Super Smash Brothers (this also applies to the other characters in that game) amusing, and for the sake of hearing them do it, purposely make them fall off high cliffs, take damage, etc.
I also had a friend who made Isaac fall off the stage in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence on purpose because it was that amusing to hear him scream.
So, have you played any games where you do this to particular characters because it's amusing?

I do that a lot in some games, like in Duke Nukem, Legend of Zelda, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Metal Gear Solid. For some reason it amuses me to hear Snake scream out as he dies.....Does that make me sadistic?

yea it's quite fun to see a character Scream or die in an awful way, like I used to let C.J from GTA Sanandreas get out of the Hydra while I'm in the air to see him crash in the ground =D

I did it all the time on the Tomb Raider games. There's something about Lara's scream...and then the big "SPLAT!" when she hit the ground.
O.O wow, I need a little bit of therapy...

Hahaha. Yeah. Sometimes I just haet the main character, or just do it for the lulz. Quite funny when Sam Fisher(Splinter Cell) falls, for some reason. Of course, one can't forget when Naked Snake eats this and that of a particular disgusting looking creature or plant, and says it's tasty. Fried scorpion, anyone?

I used to do that all the time in the old Tomb Raider games. I used to make Lara climb all the way to the top of some high cliff just to make her jump off. Then she'd let out a long scream and hit the ground. XD

Strange practice right there. Sorta disturbing, too. No, I don't purposely take damage to listen to my character scream out in agony or fear. haha
I usually get to listen to the screams just from playing. I'm not perfect. |

ah.....me too.....i don't really do it on purpose.....i here them all the time when i screw up..........although when i first played Zelda OoT i did jump off on purpose all the time, just to here Young Link scream........

I made Link fall all the time to hear him scream XD
I also liked to make Mario fall when my friends would play so I could hear them scream. They didn't like it too much XD
