360 0r wii??
I have a dilemma... I'm trying to figure out if I should get either a 360, or a Wii.
anyone have any opinions to share on this?

Well they aren't really comparable as they are both extremely different, so it would depend on the kind of consoles you already have. If you just want a playstation type thing then the 360 has more games and great graphics, whereas if you're looking for something different then the wii can be really fun, although there isn't as wide a selection in games.

I've had my XBox for a while and I'm quite happy with it. Its got a good selection of games. If you have a PS3, however, go for the Wii seeing as the PS3 and XBox 360 have a lot of the same games being released for both systems.

You don't need to own either console in order to figure out which is more worth the purchase.
The Wii has virtually no games worth buying outside of Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (I've had a Wii since September and only have one game for the thing). Online play, though present in a few games, hasn't been fully embraced by Nintendo. The best feature the Wii has (NOT motion-sensing) is its downloadable content market. You can purchase the best games for the NES, SNES, N64, and a few other consoles, through download and play 'em on your Wii. Other than that, nothing has impressed me.
The Xbox 360, on the other hand, has a huge amount of great titles available and getting ready for release. Xbox Live is by far the best option for online gaming, and its online marketplace provides huge amounts of additional content for many 360 games. The achievement system adds extra incentive to play the games.
At the moment, I believe the Xbox 360 is FAR superior to the Wii. If for nothing else, then just for the game selection.

You do know about the new Tales of Symphonia game coming out for the Wii, right VoN? I dont have a Wii, so expect a knock on the door one of these days, cuz we gonna play some ToS!

I think the Wii has more famous game names associated with it, but at the moment the Xbox360 has the better selection of games. I've had my Wii since December 2006, and only have like...6 games for it =/ But the Wii is fun to play, but the game selection isn't too great.

It's pretty much the only game coming out for the Wii that I want. haha
Mario Kart Wii might be worth a look as well.
But hell yeah! I'll be playing the crap outta it, so come on down and get some ToS action with me, homie.
There will be no rest or food, though.

I agree, the Wii lacks the great game selection that other consoles have, limiting it only to games like Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (also available on Game Cube  ), Super Smash Bros Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy. Nintendo needs to draw some of the bigger titles to their console, and try to fully use the Wii's gaming capabilities.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles was not bad, but it seemed like a copy of "House of the Dead"...

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption isn't a complete waste of time either. It's just far too linear and lacks the same exploration elements past Metroid games have had. The story is complete shit, too.
My Wii has been used to play Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past more than any Wii game.
