XII on the DS..

Just got it yesterday myself, and I WANT TO CRY! Is there any way to use the navigation keys to actually walk around and NOT have to use the stylus to 'click and point' every single freaking move? If I could do that, XII would be so much more tolerable.

Additionally, I'm just curious who all plays it on the DS. How do you like it? I'm I the only one who doesn't care about the graphics?

Ugh I made a fred complaining about the controls for it, they REALLY irritated me, but you will get used to it, on like the world map you don't have to use the stylus which is a SLIGHT bonus. It really did hack me off at first

Theres a Revenant Wings section of the forums, you should go have a ganders ^^

It's quite annoying, having to seperate your troops out, then realizing youre going to get battered, then you have to group them together, and when you want to use a single unit..well ugh. You have to mess about with the controls.

The game is on DS? That's just unusually strange and not to mention that the gameplay must be quite boring

Gameplay's not exactly boring, sure it gets a bit repetitive, but it's sometimes annoying more then anything.

Haha, I'm going to take a wild guess and say you've never played an RTS before. They're always like that, point and click. I suggest you learn to tolerate it

Also, this thread belongs in the actual Revenant Wings section...although you actually haven't referred to the game as RW. You're aware of the subtitle, right? o_O

Now as for the game itself, I haven't played it yet. I'm waiting for DS emulators to get a little better before I dl a ROM (I'm not buying a DS since I never play handhelds), but it's nice to see that you don't mind the graphics. I get so tired of graphics whores who complain when games aren't as beautiful as Crysis.

She posed a bit of a problem, but I defeated her after a couple of go's. She was a bit of a disappointment to be honest.

The Whole Judge of Wings thing is weird tbh. and playing without the stylus just made me group everyone together and try to take monsters on one by one, which doesn't work so well lol

I totally know where you're coming from, but RW ROMs play fine on No$GBA v2.6a (yeah, I know, stupid name for a DS emu)...It's mostly the newest NEWEST ROMs that don't do so hot on it yet...I finally broke down myself & got one to play FFIII DS...then I ended up getting Pokemon Diamond...and FFCC: Ring of Fates...and then recently I got The World Ends With You ROM which is the first that didn't work :( I guess some of the more graphic-heavy moments run slower too and you really can't have any other programs working is my experience...but idk...might be my comp too though...

But it's all good...I've still got tons of GBA games to work through! >_>
