Character's name: Lazlo Merritt

Appearance: Lazlo has short naturally white hair, that's slightly wavy in texture, and is generally a little messy. He also has deep green eyes, stands at 6'1, and weighs 148 pounds with a slightly toned build. Complexion wise, Lazlo is caucasion, but not pale, yet not tan, and his skin is firm, due to his toned build. He has a thin scar running from his right cheek to his neck. Clothing wise, Lazlo wears a dark green sleeveless shirt, it has a collar and is unbuttoned, appearing to have once been a dress shirt, now customized to Lazlo's liking. With it he wears a pair of black trousers that are tucked into a pair of black boots. He wears a brown leather belt around his waist, and a thin silver chain around his neck.

Personality: Lazlo is a calm guy. He has a sarcastic side, but he is usually quiet, and keeps to himself. When in battle, Lazlo tries to say as little as possible, just focusing on getting the job done. If you open up to him though, Lazlo becomes a bit more talkative and helpful, even making a joke from time to time.

First Impression: When Lazlo first meets somebody he usually surveys them up and down. If talked to, he'll usually offer a greeting, and if the person stays around longer than that, he'll most likely respond with a, "Is there anything you want?"

Weapons: Lazlo fights with a five feet long spear that has a ten inch blade. The spear is made out of light mythril for durability, while the blade is made of steel, and shaped into a diamond. He also carries around a few small smoke bombs, just in case he needs to get away quickly from a situation.

Armor: Lazlo wears an iron buckler on his right arm.

Abilities/Skills:
Jump:You know the routine...jumps very high to strike down on the enemy.
Drawback: After landing from the jump, Lazlo takes a few seconds to regain his balance.

Dragonspeed: Lazlo attacks the enemy with 3 lightning fast slices from his spear.
Drawback: Lazlo has to catch his breath after this attack, leaving him open for attack.

Rage: Lazlo attacks the enemy with multiple spear thrust.
Drawback: While the attacks are very powerful, he preforms them slower than his other moves, thus making them easier to dodge.



Quick History: Lazlo was born in a small village in a snowy area. He lived a peaceful life, and when he turned 14, his father taught him how to use a spear, so he could help protect the village from monsters. A few years later, when Lazlo was 16, his village was attacked by many monsters. Lazlo fought alongside his father to protect the village, and when fighting off one beast, he was struck across the face, earning him his scar. There were too many monsters coming, and most of the people protecting the village were slaughtered, allowing the monsters to gain entry into the village, and literally attacking everybody in the village. Lazlo and his father continued fighting the beast, but they were overcome. Lazlo's father demanded that Lazlo leave the village so he could save himself. Lazlo reluctantly did as he was told and ran off into the woods.

Lazlo returned to the village hours later to discover his father lying on the ground. Lazlo approached to only discover his father had died. Lazlo was overcome by horrible sadness, and ventured into what was left of the village, finding dead villagers...including his mother. He couldn't believe what had happened. Lazlo was all alone now, filled with grief, thinking that he could have done somehing to stop this. Lazlo knew he was alone now, and couldn't stay in what was left of his village, so he left and began traveling.

Now, at 24, Lazlo has recovered from the slaughter of his village, but he still holds some guilt over what happened. He travels from place to place making money as a mercenary, and sometimes even as a common bodyguard. He feels as if he has no place to go, which is why he continues wandering.
