Clark Martinet
Name: Clark Martinet
Title: None
Race: Human
Gender: M
Age: 23
Appearance:
- Hair: It is a dark blond color that stretches to about nose level in the back and above the eye brows in front. His bangs also reach at roughly nose level.
- Eyes: Dark blue with a tinge of green
- Height: About 5ft. 11in.
- Weight: 138lbs.
- Complexion: Light tan skin. No scars, tattoos, or anything else that alters the complexion otherwise.
- Build: He is relatively scrawny. Clark does not look muscular, although he can’t be broken easily.
- Noteworthy Features: None
- Attire: He wears a jade-colored travelling cloak over a black vest, complete with long, cotton pants. A pocket inside his cloak stores his weapon. He has a crimson red headband to keep his hair out of his face.
Personality: Around companions, Clark only speaks when he believes his thoughts would contribute to the conversation. Because of this, he is not the type for much social interaction.
First Impression: Clark would generally avoid conversing with strangers. However, if that stranger is someone that he has been referred to, Clark would speak as little as possible. In a combative situation, Clark would keep an eye on the persona, questioning his/her alliance until stated otherwise.
Weapon(s): Yari. A yari is essentially a pole arm with one side that is a blade, like a sword, and the other holding a hidden compartment. Clark’s hidden compartment holds sand to throw in the eyes of his opponent. The weapon can also retract to a more portable size. Apart from convenient features, Clark’s yari can alter its shape to make a makeshift shield to deflect gunfire. However, this form would significantly reduce his ability to block melee attacks.
Armor: Only his clothes.
Magic: None
Abilities/Skills: Sand Launcher (blinds or surprises his opponent), Enhanced Reflexes (has a quicker reaction time than most), Partial Transfiguration (can transform parts of himself into a different organic form)
Quick History: His memory of his past has been erased from memory, due to the vast number of experiments performed on him.
From records, Clark was a soldier from a destroyed government, taken by his enemies and used for biological experimentation. He was chosen for these experiments due to his will to live, which is seen in life-or-death situations on the battlefield. The experiments include what would be close to SOLDIER levels in terms of combative nature and danger.
After years of captivity, Clark went berserk and broke out of his cell. He fled only after destroying the laboratory that held him. Due to this, Clark is not much of a talker: always distrustful of others. With no family, friends, or connections, he turned to mercenary work.
