What if the end of the world was just tomorrow?
In every religion or most of them, the is a time of great turmoil, devastation and ruin that takes place before a new beginning occurs. What if the end of the world was just tomorrow or just right around the corner? Would you care? What would you do and where will you be?
What if another world war engulf this world? What if Heaven opens up with angels descending. What if Hades and Hell burst open with demons and the dead walking the face of the earth? What if the dead start raising which can't be killed with shotguns. What if the natural disasters occured on large scales as never seen before such as 10+ mag. earthquakes in various parts of the earth every other day, cat. 5+ hurricanes every two weeks, volcanoes erupting everyday, raise in ocean levels, severe shortages in food and water and death and disease rampant? What if all these things took place at the same time?
What would you do? How would you react base on your religious beliefs and unbeliefs? Depending on your threshold, what will become of you? Would you go insane? Would you stay sane?

Guys try to make more contributing posts.
In the very unlikely event that all that should happen Juke I dare say I'd be screaming for a good part of it. I doubt I'd start praying since I'd doubt any god would care to save me, even if they did exist. But I would go to those I cared about to let them I loved them and all.
And then I'd throw myself in the fray. No better way to die then to go out fighting, eh?

LOL. I might walk a fine line between sanity and insanity if those days come. Yea, give me my sword, shield, armor and helmet so I can't fight through to see it all past me by.
I'll be praying though; praying that many including myself will all see this to the end. |

I do not believe in religion and am therefore unaffected by whatever any religion has to say. But for the sake of debate, here I am.

All of the above are very unlikely concepts. If this happened? Then may 'God' help us. Haha.

Then the population of the earth would decrease significantly and very rapidly. There's nothing you CAN do - you can't fight the earth without destroying yourself in the process.

It would be preposterous to say that anyone wouldn't care or that anyone wasn't affected. Scientists estimate a few more million years before the Sun will implode, with it, the rest of the Universe following swiftly. But what can you do, besides make the most of your time? If the world started acting up, I would definitely not waste my time praying. Infact, I'd probably encourage everyone else to stop praying and open their eyes - God can't help you (for more reasons than one, at least to me anyway) you just have to help yourself now.
There's nothing else you CAN do, besides panic and die.

Why would a God want to destroy what they created? Unless it was predicted by a higher power.(I.e Norse Paganism everything is written by the Norns who are the Guardians of Fate)
Unless a god is like a 4 year old who destroys his brand new christmas present in a matter of days, But if that's the kind of God we all worship, then bollocks to that.
If a god allows the world it created to fall into the abyss then they shouldn't be God.
