A Question To Creationists/Christians

As we know, intelligent design is the belief that our universe is too complex to have been created by mindless atoms floating around in a nothingness, there must have been something intelligent there to create the Galaxies, Planets, Stars, etc etc.
But why not several designers? I was watching a video the other day on Youtube raising this point and I thought I'd see what you guys thought.
Back to my point, assuming the idea of Creationism/Intelligent Design is true, isn't this universe also too complex to have been created by one singular being?
If we look at it from a different perspective, a Computer, for example, is too complicated to have been created by just one person, there had to have been designers, manufacturers, programmers etc.
Then take something far more complicated, like a human, or an animal, is it possible that perhaps there was a whole team of intelligent designers creating our universe?
What's your take?

THIS IS ALL HYPOTHETICAL

Sounds like the upcoming videogame 'Spore' where every player is one of the designers of the universe. xD

On a more serious note, creationists/christians probably would not accept such an idea, as they see their respective gods as omnipotent, thus, they would see no need for multiple gods.

I simply cannot believe the creationist theorem because it cannot answer the simple question of "What created God?" and the answer of "He was always there" is just...unbelievable.

Although i think we'll never know what created the universe, because simple questions of "what?" cannot be answered, science says the universe was created with atoms reacting with each other (or something like that) so where did the atoms come from?

I personally believe that there are some things that humans just aren't meant to know.

So is the big bang theory and all of these other ideas where the universe came from. But obviously the idea of "god" is IMPOSSIBLE

We're overlooking something, we fail to be looking at the question has there ever been a state of non-existence? Does everything have to start from something?

I mean clearly there is a state of existence, because we percieve it, but we cannot percieve a state of non-existence.

Back on topic.

I am creationist/agnostic. I find creationism easier to stomach than a big bang of nothing creating everything as well. It makes me laugh.

That's a very interesting theory... I have always thought 'why not?' to be honest.. Don't see why there can't be a God or anything else for that matter, people always seem to restrict things to either a God or just science, when really it could be absolutely anything that created the universe.
Although according to Christian belief, God is omniscient, therefore would be able to create such a complex universe, although who's to say that God isn't a team of many forces? Hmm... I've got myself thinking now haha =P

About God always "being" there ... I hate that. The Uncaused Cause. Everything is caused by something else -- ohoh, except God.

I like the idea of something else making everything - not God, not Science.
