Shadow of the Colossus
I just finished this game last night and it was a remarkable game. Something completely different and I think it really worked well. Despite winning numerous awards I am suprise how under appreciated this game is. It is definitely one of my favourite games of all time. Not much of the story is known throughout the game, even at that the ending is still fantastic.
I would recommend this game for anyone who likes a challenge.

I bought it once, but left it on the bus. Some lucky person has it now. I was gutted, I wanted to buy it again but have never got round to it.

The game is just over a year old and shops are now selling it at £10. In my opinion, that price is robbery!
At that price, I would say it is a MUST HAVE rather than pass up the opportunity to play what is considered to be one of the best PS2 games.

I love this game. I haven't gotten around to beating it yet, mostly because my brother hogs it. And the graphics are absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes i find myself just riding around looking at the scenery. Lol.
Btw, Have you played ICO? It's done by the same people who made SOTC.

Shadow of the Colossus is the greatest game ever made for the PS2, hands down.
When you topple the first few colossi, you'll be hooked, and there's no way to become unhooked.
I didn't have a strategy guide, so I figured out every single puzzle myself. Usually, extremely difficult puzzles make a game wear down fast, but the fun value of SOTC is so high, you wouldn't mind at all.

I loved the game, I really did... but I never felt motivated to beat the game. I did eventually but for some reason it never grabbed me in the way I expected it to. I really like the game and it is amazing... but I just never got that hooked. It's the only game Busta's ever beat in less RL time than I have... and the only game he's ever had to push me to beat. Usually I'm the one pushing him to finish games. It was a terrific game though.

I loved this game. The music, the atmosphere, the colossi themselves, everything was just fantastic. I was really surprised how much I liked it.
I've never played ICO, but isn't it related to it in some way?

I prefer ICO, most people would probably think Im mad. I didnt play much of SoC, I viewed it and IMO it looked rather frustrating as my ex and his friend had a tough time playing it.
Beautiful looking game, but I wouldnt run out and get it.

I got ICO about a month or 2 ago but decided not to play it as I was currently in the middle of some games (Shadow of the Colossus being one). My brother (Who completed SotC earlier today) is currently playing ICO as I speak.

Ico and SoC are related but not very much. The only thing I know is that the reason summoners have horns in Ico is because of the baby at the end of SoC
