Playstation 3 GB

Today i wanted to buy a ps3 40 Gb. but first i readed the offical site of sony and it says ps3 60 gb got more functions like : can play some ps2 games +
can have a normal Internet Cable what you use for your pc. so what mine question is : should i buy a 40 gb or a 60gb

and also do ps3 40 gb got
Atleast a good wireless conection ?

Just get the 60GB if you can, you've already said it yourself it's got more important functions like PS2 backwards compatibility so just go with that.

Answer: Buy neither. Until they revise their features (on either model...) and get more games, neither one is really worth buying... I can almost guarantee that most of the games you want are (or will be) on the 360 as well.

If the sales of PS3s don't go as planned I can almost guarantee ALL the games you want will end up on the 360... People don't make big-budget games to have them sell less copies because they're on an uber-overpriced machine. So, when they find they aren't making money, they'd make a last-ditch effort for 360. That is... If Sony doesn't change their approach in a few months.

Pity... I was looking forward to the PS3, but that was until it came out.

I only want to buy the ps3 cause of the Good Games coming out on it. Like
Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy xiii and more. but i dont think these games coming out on the xbox360

Well the 60 gb has the extra features, so I'd just go with that. Seems to make sense to me.
The wireless connection stuff all depends on your location and other such things, not the HDD size of the console.

xD They would if they had bad sales... Square-Enix is, after all, making at least one game for 360, who says they can't port the XIII's over...? Though of course, Die-hard SE fans would've likely already bought PS3's JUST for XIII which makes no sense to me...

As for MGS... They could always plan a 'Special Edition' of Guns of the Patriots for the 360... After all... I believe they at least released a version of MGS2: Substance for the original Xbox. That, and Japanese companies are gravitating to the 360 already, generally.

Yes, the 60gig is the best deal out of all IF YOU CAN FIND ONE. The backwards compatibility is actually better than the 80gig. Which is the reason why Sony discontinued the 60gig because it was 'too good' and too costly for Sony to produce.

If you want backwards compatibility the only one that has it now that in production at the moment is the 80gig. Other two system that are out is the 40gig and the 20gig do not have backwards compatibility.

If you really want a 60gig then look for them on Amazon and ebay. There will be used, maybe new ones that are being auctioned.

As for FFXIII and MGS4. Well... Right there isn't even a release date for FFXIII. Probably will be out in 2009... Maybe 2010 for the US and UK. By that time, the PS3 will probably drop down in price.

As for MGS4... There was an article on IGN that there could be a possibility that Konami might release it on the Xbox 360 as well. Rumors, but hey, it happened to Assassin's Creed, and Konami have released games on the Xbox before. Who knows?

Like others have said, I'd go for the 60GB.

I'd love to go online and play my old PS1 and current PS2 games on it. Trouble is, it's waaaaay too much money.

It's like about £400 over here in the UK.

The 60GB has 'more functions' so you have your answer right there, even if they weren't great I would rather have them than not. But yeah go for the 60GB model.

As for MGS4 ad FFXIII I would highly doubt if any of the were released on the 360. Without a doubt 'spin-offs' of XIII will be released on the 360 but I know that XIII Versus is exclusive to the PS3

Get a 60GB version if you can find one, if not, the next best PS3 is the 80gb version.

As for FFXIII and Versus both are exclusive to PS3 as SE has stated so in the past. Also both PS3 versions are being made on the White Engine which was built with the PS3's specs in mind to fully utilize it, while they bought the license to use the Unreal Engine for multi-platform games. So porting FFXIII or Versus to the 360 would most likely cause them headaches due to the 360's dvd size and lack of hard-drive standard consoles.

MGS 4 is also exclusive to PS3; Hideo Kojima himself said such repeatedly. The latest rumor about it going to the 360 was shot down by Konami a few days ago. Besides that Konami tried releasing MGS games on different consoles to see how well they would sell: MGS 1 was ported to the Gamecube and didn't sell that well; MGS 2 was ported to the Xbox and bombed; and MGS 3 never saw the light of day on either the Xbox or Gamecube as Konami got the hint that majority of their MGS fanbase is on the Playstation.
