Its amazing that the two months before the games release there was 22 pages of discussion about it. The second it gets released hardly anybody post anymore.
There are quite a bit more password released on this game now...to little to late imo though. Just came out after I got all the items. There is still one weapon left though that I can only obtain through password, that's the only one not out yet.

Anybody try download the new camo offline? I no longer have wireless access so I can't see em, but I hear they are camo of the beauty and beast. I wanna see pics :(

Has anyone come up with a conclusion as to why Dr Clark was referred to as 'he' when quite clearly stated, it's Paramedic; who is female?
If anyone remembers, Naomi calls Dr Clark as 'he' after the fight against Ninja/Gray Fox in MGS1. Perhaps it's something they overlooked? Or maybe Naomi never actually saw Dr Clark before. Or maybe as a way of disguising herself as a Patriot, she said her gender was Male?

I never played this MGS game (only played MGS2) but I watched my brother play this game and wow honestly I was stunned.I saw this one scene of it that was truly dramatic and it seemed like a movie.This game is epic made me feel like I was right there interacting with the characters. I recommend getting it if you havent.Although I heard rumors about this being Snakes last game or I should say the last game he'll be a main character in.Any thoughts about this?

This will be his final game. If you want to be spoiled, then here's why - He gets injected with a new type of FOXDIE by Drebin; setup by the Patriots. This new type is explained in the scene with Big Boss. It means he'll have two Months to live. He lives in solitary at the end.

Kojima has never intended to make a remake after each game. He made MG and figured it was the end...was asked to make another, same with MGS1, MGS2, and MGS3. He finally decided to make MGS4 because a lot of people were confused and he was also getting death threats.

If you go back and look at the old games you'll see that MGS4 opens a lot of plotholes for the other games. For example

Signit and the DARPA chief. Their the same person, and yet their age timeline is waaay off. They give the DARPA chiefs age in MGS1 and Signit's in MGS3 and you'll notice they don't match...there are tons of small things like this, purely linked to the fact that Kojima makes up each game as he goes, without planning ahead for another.

I managed to finished the game today (albeit, I only got 5 of those achievement things xD) but I save all that stuff for the second run through of the game...and I'm not ashamed to admit that I had tears rolling down my face at the part when Naomi reveals her plan and apologizes to Otacon...when Raiden finds out that that Rosemary didn't have an abortion and that he had a son so they reunited as a family, Otacon told Sunny that she could live in the outside world and that he thought he wouldn't see Snake again.

So pretty much the whole of Act 5/Epilogue was like a giant weepathon it was that easy to become emotionally involved.
Fully worthy of 10/10 in every department.

Btw I finally plucked up the courage to beat the boss extreme... Slaughtered Liquid and all the jazz... Yet no solidus mask... Explain?

You did it with all the stats in right? Under 5 hours, no alert, no kill, no ration, no continues.
If so then I've no idea why you wouldn't get it...its the main award with The Patriot.
