Inbuilt PSX emulator in the PSP?!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlaySta...8PC.29_for_PSP
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS3#Pla...e_connectivity
OK, in the first hyperlink, it says "for sale, Playstation Emulated games"
And, in the second hyperlink it says that there is an inbuilt PSX emulator, and you can put these ROMs, from the store, and put them on the PSP.
Does this really work, has anyone done this before, and how does one do this?
Thanks for all your help

I've never done it, but it sounds legit. The emu's might cost $ cuz it is a store and all. But I don't care, I'd love to see FF9 on my little multi-tasker.
Oh, and stay away from PSP emu sites, cuz ur PSP needs an old firmware that allows homebrew files. I learned that the hard way...

Yeah, it does cost and all, and you can also buy PSP games, which makes everything so much easier, but all I want to know is how to do it

There isn't any inbuilt PsP emulator. It's possible that the Rom's you download are in PSP - game format which is .ISO.
I myself have custom firmware, so I download my PSX-Games.

you're so lucky! I bought my PSP when it had firmware 3.71, and I'm afraid to downgrade cuz there's a 99.9% chance that it will fuck my PSP up, so...

Mine was 3.71 too, but I downgraded and it worked. Of course, the way I did it isn't recommended if you prefer to keep your fingers and hands intact.
